أعلنت الهيئة الملكية لمدينة الرياض تنظيم النسخة الثانية من مهرجان الرياض لموسيقى الأفلام في القاعة الحمراء بجامعة الأميرة نورة خلال الفترة من 30 يوليو إلى 8 أغسطس، بالتزامن مع بطولة كأس العالم للرياضات الإلكترونية في بوليفارد سيتي.
يعرض المهرجان 4 أفلام شهيرة مع موسيقاها الحيّة تتضمن Top Gun: Maverick يُعرض من 30 يوليو حتى 2 أغسطس، ويجمع بين موسيقى زيمر ولورن بالف وهارولد فالتر ماير.
The Lion King يُعرض في 1 و2 أغسطس، وتُقدم فيه الموسيقى التي أصبحت جزءًا من الذاكرة الجماعية لعشاق ديزني.
Back to the Future يُعرض في 5 و6 أغسطس، بموسيقى من تأليف آلان سيلفستري التي ساهمت في ترسيخ الفيلم واحداً من كلاسيكيات الثمانينيات.
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl يُعرض في 7 و8 أغسطس، ويُعتبر أحد أبرز أعمال زيمر في المزج بين الإثارة والموسيقى الروائية.
شهدت النسخة الأولى من المهرجان عام 2023 عروضاً مميزة لأوركسترا آندي بريك وموسيقى ألعاب الفيديو الشهيرة، كما تألق الموسيقار أرنست فان تيل في تقديم موسيقى أفلام عالمية مثل «Harry Potter» و«Star Wars».
يأتي هذا الحدث ضمن مبادرات قطاع نمط الحياة في الهيئة الملكية، ضمن جهود تهدف إلى تنويع الخيارات الترفيهية والثقافية، وتعزيز مكانة الرياض مركزاً رائداً للفنون والابتكار الثقافي في المنطقة.
The Royal Commission for Riyadh City announced the organization of the second edition of the Riyadh Film Music Festival at the Red Hall of Princess Nourah University from July 30 to August 8, coinciding with the Electronic Sports World Cup at Boulevard City.
The festival will showcase 4 famous films with live music, including Top Gun: Maverick, which will be screened from July 30 to August 2, featuring the music of Zimmer, Lorne Balfe, and Harold Faltermeyer.
The Lion King will be shown on August 1 and 2, presenting music that has become part of the collective memory of Disney fans.
Back to the Future will be screened on August 5 and 6, with music composed by Alan Silvestri that helped establish the film as one of the classics of the 1980s.
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl will be shown on August 7 and 8, and is considered one of Zimmer's most prominent works in blending excitement with narrative music.
The first edition of the festival in 2023 featured outstanding performances by the Andy Brick Orchestra and music from popular video games, while composer Ernst Van Tiel excelled in presenting music from global films such as "Harry Potter" and "Star Wars."
This event is part of the lifestyle sector initiatives of the Royal Commission, aimed at diversifying entertainment and cultural options, and enhancing Riyadh's position as a leading center for arts and cultural innovation in the region.
