أعلنت الفنانة السورية دانا مارديني اعتزالها التمثيل التلفزيوني من دون أي تبرير حول الدوافع التي حثتها على اتخاذ مثل هذا القرار.
ووضحت دانا، من خلال منشور مطوّل عبر حسابيها على إنستغرام وفيسبوك، أن قرارها لا يشمل عملها في السينما والمسرح، مؤكدة أن قرارها لم يكن وليد اللحظة أو اتخذته بشكل مفاجئ إنما كانت تفكر باتخاذه منذ سنوات إلى أن حانت اللحظة لتعلن عنه.
وحرصت الفنانة السورية على شرح قرارها برسالة، مؤكدة أن شغفها بالتمثيل سيستمر بالمسرح والسينما، وأنها فخورة بما قدمته من مسلسلات، متمنية ألا يحاول أحد الاتصال بأحد من أفراد عائلتها لمعرفة دوافعها لأن أهلها يحترمون قراراتها.
وقالت دانا مارديني: «مرحباً بالجميع. أعلن اعتزالي كممثلة في مجال التلفزيون، لن أعمل بعد الآن في مجال التلفزيون، أياً كانت الشركة أو المحطة، سأتابع في مهنتي وشغفي خارج هذا السياق. يرجى عدم التواصل مع الأهل. أنا من عائلة تحترم قرار الآخر ولا تتدخل في شؤونه أياً كانت.. القرار ليس رد فعل ولا وليد اللحظة، منذ سنوات وأنا أريد اعتزال التلفزيون، فخورة بما قدمت، واكتفيت إلى هنا. المحبين الغوالي سأتابع في مهنتي وأتابع النشر عن كل جديد ابتداءً من المكان إلى جديدي في السينما والمسرح أو أي جديد بعد الاستقرار. لكم مني كل الحب».
وتخرجت دانا مارديني من قسم التمثيل في المعهد العالي للفنون المسرحية في 2010، وشاركت في مسلسلات: الولادة من الخاصرة، أرواح عارية، الولادة من الخاصرة 2، ساعات الجمر، الولادة من الخاصرة 3: منبر الموتى، سنعود بعد قليل، قلم حمرة، حلاوة الروح، العراب - نادي الشرق، العراب - تحت الحزام، الندم، أهل الغرام 3، جيران 3 و4، تانغو، ع الحلوة والمرة، نور، الزند: ذئب العاصي.
كما شاركت في السينما بفيلمي «دمشق مع حبي» و«رسائل الكرز»، وشاركت بمسرحيات: الألماني الطيب، لحظة، سيليكون، والوجه الآخر لحكاية السيدة روزالين.
The Syrian artist Dana Mardini announced her retirement from television acting without providing any justification for the motivations that led her to make such a decision.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram and Facebook accounts, Dana clarified that her decision does not include her work in cinema and theater, emphasizing that her choice was not made impulsively or suddenly, but rather she had been contemplating it for years until the moment came to announce it.
The Syrian artist took care to explain her decision in a message, confirming that her passion for acting will continue in theater and cinema, and that she is proud of what she has contributed in terms of series, wishing that no one tries to contact any of her family members to inquire about her motives, as her family respects her decisions.
Dana Mardini said: "Hello everyone. I announce my retirement as an actress in the field of television; I will no longer work in television, regardless of the company or channel. I will continue in my profession and passion outside of this context. Please do not contact my family. I come from a family that respects others' decisions and does not interfere in their affairs, whatever they may be. The decision is not a reaction nor was it made in the moment; I have wanted to retire from television for years. I am proud of what I have presented, and I am satisfied with what I have done. To my dear fans, I will continue in my profession and will keep you updated on everything new, starting from my projects in cinema and theater or anything new after settling down. All my love to you."
Dana Mardini graduated from the acting department at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in 2010 and participated in series such as: "Al-Wiladah Min Al-Khasirah," "Arwah Aaria," "Al-Wiladah Min Al-Khasirah 2," "Sa'at Al-Jamr," "Al-Wiladah Min Al-Khasirah 3: Minbar Al-Mawta," "San'oud Ba'ad Qaleel," "Qalam Hamra," "Halawat Al-Ruh," "Al-Irab - Nadi Al-Sharq," "Al-Irab - Taht Al-Hizam," "Al-Nadam," "Ahl Al-Gharam 3," "Jiran 3 and 4," "Tango," "A Al-Halwah Wal-Murra," "Noor," and "Al-Zand: Dhئib Al-Asi."
She also participated in cinema with the films "Damascus with Love" and "Messages of Cherry," and took part in plays such as "The Good German," "Lahza," "Silicon," and "The Other Side of the Story of Mrs. Rosalyn."
