ألغت محكمة الاستئناف بالكويت اليوم، حكم سجن الإعلامية فجر السعيد، وقضت بالامتناع عن النطق بالعقاب مع تعهد بكفالة 1000 دينار على خلفية اتهامها في قضية أمن دولة.
وأعلنت الإعلامية مي العيدان الخبر عبر صفحتها على انستغرام، ونشرت صورة تجمعها بفجر، وعبرت من خلال تعليقها عن سعادتها بخروجها من السجن، وكتبت «الحمد لله يا قطعة من قلبي الليلة بإذن الله تنامين في بيتك معززة، مكرمة يا أمي وأختي وصديقتي وأستاذتي وكل الدنيا لي».
وأضافت «شكرا لله شكرا للقضاء الكويتي شكرا للمحامي فيصل عيال العنزي والمحامي بسام العسعوسي، وباب السياسة وداعاً إلى غير رجعة، وهلا براحة البال والسلام والحياة الجديدة».
وكانت محكمة الجنايات، قضت بحبس فجر السعيد 3 سنوات مع الشغل والنفاذ، وذلك بتهم نشر أخبار كاذبة والإضرار بمصالح البلاد.
The Court of Appeal in Kuwait today annulled the prison sentence of media personality Fajr Al-Saeed and ruled to refrain from imposing a penalty with a commitment to a bail of 1,000 dinars following her accusation in a state security case.
Media personality Mai Al-Eidan announced the news via her Instagram page, posting a picture of herself with Fajr, and expressed her happiness in her comment about Fajr's release from prison, writing, "Thank God, my dear piece of my heart, tonight, God willing, you will sleep in your home honored and cherished, my mother, sister, friend, and teacher, and all the world to me."
She added, "Thank you, God, thank you to the Kuwaiti judiciary, thank you to lawyer Faisal Ayial Al-Anzi and lawyer Bassam Al-Asousi, and goodbye to the realm of politics without return, and welcome to peace of mind, tranquility, and a new life."
The Criminal Court had sentenced Fajr Al-Saeed to 3 years in prison with hard labor, on charges of spreading false news and harming the interests of the country.
