كشف الممثل السوري باسم ياخور تعرضه لحملة شرسة خلال الأشهر الأربعة الماضية، وصلت إلى التهديد المباشر بالقتل، مقدماً اعتذاراً لكل الشعب السوري عن تصريحاته السياسية السابقة.
وفي تصريحات تلفزيونية، أكد باسم ياخور أن تعرضه لتلك الحملة القوية لم يقتصر على الألفاظ فقط، بل شمل تهديدات صريحة تمس حياته الشخصية والأسرية.
وقال باسم ياخور: «تعرضت خلال الـ4 أشهر الماضية إلى حملة غير مسبوقة من الأذى، وصلت للتهديد بالقتل لي ولأهلي وأسرتي، مش بس بالألفاظ ولكن بالتهديد المباشر، من حقك تتهمني اتهام مباشر بالكلام وتختلف معايا، لكن مش من حق أي حد يألف عني كلام مش صحيح».
ووجه باسم ياخور رسالة اعتذار لكل الشعب السوري بعد تصريحاته السياسية الأخيرة، إذ أوضح: «إلى كل إنسان متألم أو موجوع، ويحمل على أكتافه ألماً أو هماً سببته هذه المرحلة المؤلمة، لو كان تصريحي يستخف بوجعه أو يجرحه أو يؤلمه، فأنا أعتذر منه اعتذاراً صادقاً من القلب، وبقول له: أنا آسف.. هذا حق، ويجب أن يُقال».
وأردف باسم ياخور أنه لم تربطه أي صلة مع النظام السوري السابق، معلقاً: «أنا لم أكن مسؤولاً في النظام ولم أكن أعمل أي شكل من أشكال البزنس مع النظام، ولم يكن لي أي منصب، وأنا رجل عايش خارج البلد منذ سنوات طويلة جداً».
وبشأن علاقته بزملائه والمحيطين خلال فترة وجوده في سورية، تابع: «أنا كنت في سورية خدام بيتي، تلفوني، وحياتي كانت كلها خدمات لأصدقائي وزملائي وللناس اللي ما بعرفهم، وما في حد بيخاف مني، وفي المهنة، أي حد كان بيحتاج خدمة، على طول كانوا بيقولوا: روح لباسم ياخور».
وفي وقت سابق، زار باسم ياخور، أخيراً، العاصمة السورية دمشق لأول مرة بعد سقوط نظام بشار الأسد، بعد سنوات غياب طويلة عن بلده سورية، وتساءل الجمهور عن سبب زيارته لدمشق وما إذا كانت عودته من أجل عمل تلفزيوني سوري جديد، أم أنها مجرد زيارة لبلده وجمهوره السوري.
The Syrian actor Basel Khaiour revealed that he has been subjected to a fierce campaign over the past four months, which included direct death threats, offering an apology to the entire Syrian people for his previous political statements.
In television statements, Basel Khaiour confirmed that the strong campaign against him was not limited to words alone, but included explicit threats that affected his personal and family life.
Basel Khaiour said: "Over the past 4 months, I have been subjected to an unprecedented campaign of harm, reaching threats of death to me and my family, not just in words but in direct threats. You have the right to accuse me directly with words and disagree with me, but no one has the right to fabricate false statements about me."
He directed a message of apology to the entire Syrian people following his recent political statements, clarifying: "To every person who is in pain or suffering, and carries the burden of pain or worry caused by this painful phase, if my statement belittled your pain or hurt you, I sincerely apologize from the heart, and I say to you: I am sorry... this is a right, and it must be said."
Basel Khaiour added that he had no connection with the previous Syrian regime, commenting: "I was not responsible in the regime, nor did I engage in any form of business with the regime, and I held no position. I am a man who has lived outside the country for a very long time."
Regarding his relationship with colleagues and those around him during his time in Syria, he continued: "I was in Syria serving my home, my phone, and my life was all about serving my friends, colleagues, and people I didn't know. No one was afraid of me, and in the profession, anyone who needed a service would always say: Go to Basel Khaiour."
Earlier, Basel Khaiour recently visited the Syrian capital, Damascus, for the first time after the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime, after many years of absence from his country, Syria. The audience wondered about the reason for his visit to Damascus and whether his return was for a new Syrian television project, or if it was just a visit to his country and his Syrian audience.
