رحلت، صباح اليوم الأربعاء، أيقونة المسرح العراقي الفنانة إقبال نعيم، عن عمر ناهز 67 عامًا، بعد مسيرة حافلة بالعطاء الفني، حظيت خلالها بجماهيرية كبيرة في العراق.
أثرت إقبال نعيم، المكتبة الفنية بالعديد من الأعمال، وعملت مع عددٍ من الفرق المسرحية العراقية المحلية، كالمسرح الفني الحديث والشعبي، قبل دخولها إلى الفرقة الوطنية للتمثيل، فضلًا عن إخراجها العديد من المسرحيات حازت من خلالها على جوائز مهمة أثناء تمثيلها للعراق، سواء في المهرجانات المحلية والعربية والدولية.
وحصلت إقبال نعيم، على جائزة أفضل ممثلة عن مسرحية «الرهن» من المركز العراقي للمسرح في العام 1985، وجائزة أفضل ممثل دور ثاني عن مسرحية «ألف أمنية وأمنية» عام 1987، وجائزة أفضل عمل متكامل عن مسرحية «ترنيمة الكرسي الهزاز» في مهرجان قرطاج المسرحي عام 1987، وجائزة أفضل إخراج وتمثيل وأزياء عن مسرحية «الريشة الذهبية» في مهرجان مسرح الطفل الأردني عام 2002.
كما عملت مع أفضل وأهم المخرجين العراقيين، أبرزهم عوني كرومي، وصلاح القصب، وعزيز خيون، وفاضل خليل، وقدّمت العديد من الأعمال المسرحية، منها «خيط البريسم»، «في أعالي الحب»، «سيدرا»، و«هيروسترات»، كما شاركت في عددٍ من الأفلام، منها «حب في بغداد»، و«ستة على ستة»، فضلًا عن مشاركتها في العديد من الأعمال الدرامية في التلفزيون والإذاعة.
This morning, Wednesday, the iconic Iraqi theater artist Iqbal Naim passed away at the age of 67, after a rich career filled with artistic contributions, during which she enjoyed great popularity in Iraq.
Iqbal Naim enriched the artistic library with numerous works and collaborated with several local Iraqi theater groups, such as the Modern Artistic Theater and the Popular Theater, before joining the National Theater Company. She also directed many plays, for which she received important awards while representing Iraq, whether in local, Arab, or international festivals.
Iqbal Naim won the Best Actress award for the play "The Mortgage" from the Iraqi Theater Center in 1985, the Best Supporting Actor award for the play "A Thousand Wishes" in 1987, the Best Complete Work award for the play "The Rocking Chair Hymn" at the Carthage Theater Festival in 1987, and the Best Direction, Acting, and Costumes award for the play "The Golden Feather" at the Jordanian Children's Theater Festival in 2002.
She also worked with the best and most important Iraqi directors, including Awni Karumi, Salah Al-Qasab, Aziz Khayoun, and Fadel Khalil, and presented many theatrical works, including "The Thread of the Breeze," "In the Heights of Love," "Sidra," and "Hirostratus." Additionally, she participated in several films, including "Love in Baghdad" and "Six on Six," as well as taking part in numerous dramatic works on television and radio.
