كشف الفنان المصري رامي جمال، موقفه من فكرة طرح ألبومه بنفس وقت طرح الألبوم الجديد للهضبة عمرو دياب، وحقيقة المنافسة بينهما.
وقال رامي جمال خلال لقائه في برنامج «أجمد 7»، عبر إذاعة نجوم إف إم، عمرو دياب أسطورة فنية صعب تكرارها مرة أخرى وهذا ليس من فراغ، واحترامه لفكرة إنه رقم واحد مش بيشبع عنده، ودايمًا بيحاول يطور ويجدد، وهيفضل شغال لحد ما هو نفسه يزهق».
وبشأن طرح ألبومه في نفس وقت ألبوم عمرو دياب، أوضح: «أنا مش بقدم نفس ذوق المزيكا اللي بيقدمها عمرو، وأنا مش من جيله علشان أتقارن بيه، وشرف ليا إن الهضبة ياخد مني التريند، وأنا في الأساس من جمهوره، وبحترم جدًا إنه صاحب الشغلانة دي».
وتابع رامي جمال: «لما نزلت الألبوم على يوتيوب، كنت متصدر رقم 1 و2 و3 على يوتيوب، ولما عمرو دياب نزل الألبوم بقيت رقم 4 و5 و6 وليا الشرف بالمكانة دي، لأني شوفت أيام وسنين كتير إني أبقى رقم 2 بعد الهضبة ده حلم مشروع، ومستغرب الناس اللي بتقول إزاي تنزل ألبومك مع عمرو دياب».
وعن طموحاته في المستقبل، أكد رامي جمال: «نفسي اسمي يبقى براند زي أنغام، وفضل شاكر، وجورج وسوف، مش عايز أبقى رقم، لكن عايز يكون ليا اسم له قيمة فنية مختلفة».

Regarding releasing his album at the same time as Amr Diab's album, he clarified: "I don't present the same musical taste that Amr offers, and I am not from his generation to be compared to him. It is an honor for me that the legend trends from me, and I am essentially one of his fans, and I have great respect for the fact that he is the owner of this profession."
Rami Gamal continued: "When I released the album on YouTube, I was ranked number 1, 2, and 3 on YouTube, and when Amr Diab released his album, I became number 4, 5, and 6, and I am honored by this ranking because I have seen many days and years of being number 2 after the legend; that is a legitimate dream. I am surprised by the people who say, 'How can you release your album with Amr Diab?'
About his ambitions for the future, Rami Gamal confirmed: "I want my name to be a brand like Angham, Fadel Shaker, and George Wassouf. I don't want to be just a number, but I want to have a name that has a different artistic value."
