تعرض منزل النجم العالمي براد بيت في منطقة «لوس فيليز» بولاية كاليفورنيا لعملية سطو مسلح، في وقت كان الممثل خارج البلاد للترويج لفيلمه الجديد «فورمولا واحد».
وأكدت شرطة لوس أنجلوس وقوع الاقتحام دون تحديد هوية ساكن المنزل رسميًا، فيما ذكرت مصادر في إنفاذ القانون أن ثلاثة مشتبهاً بهم تسلقوا السياج الأمامي للمنزل ونهبوا محتوياته، ولم تُعلن بعد قيمة المسروقات.
يأتي ذلك وسط تصاعد حوادث اقتحام منازل مشاهير هوليوود أخيرًا، حيث تعرضت الممثلة جينيفر أنيستون، الزوجة السابقة لبراد بيت، لحادثة اقتحام مشابهة في مايو الماضي، وتبعها اقتحام منزل نيكول كيدمان وكيث أوربان، وكذلك منزل توم هانكس وريتا ويلسون.

Los Angeles police confirmed the break-in without officially identifying the homeowner, while sources in law enforcement reported that three suspects climbed over the front fence of the house and looted its contents, with the value of the stolen items yet to be announced.
This comes amid a rise in home invasion incidents involving Hollywood celebrities recently, as actress Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt's ex-wife, experienced a similar break-in last May, followed by the invasion of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's home, as well as Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson's residence.
