ردت الفنانة السعودية إلهام علي الجدل الذي أُثير بعد تصريح الفنانة ريم عبدالله حول شخصية «وضحى»، مؤكدة أن الموضوع أزعجها، وأنها لا تحب الدخول في نقاشات حول أدوار لم تكن من نصيبها.
ورغم تصاعد الحديث عن تغريدة ريم التي فُهمت وكأنها موجّهة لها، اكتفت إلهام بالتأكيد بأن النجاح رزق، وأن الأفضل هو احترام خيارات الأدوار وتوزيعها.
من جهة أخرى عبّرت إلهام عن سعادتها الكبيرة بردود الفعل على أعمالها الأخيرة «خريف القلب»، و«شارع الأعشى»، ووصفت هذا العام بالمميز، رغم اعترافها أن الإحساس بالنجاح مخيف ويضعها أمام تحديات أكبر.
وفي حفل «الدانة»، وجّهت رسالة دعم للجيل الجديد من الممثلات اللواتي شاركنها «شارع الأعشى»، مؤكدة أنها ترى فيهن بناتها، وتشجع كل من يحب الفن أن يسعى بإخلاص بعيداً عن اللهث وراء الشهرة.

Despite the escalating talk about Reem's tweet, which was understood as being directed at her, Ilham simply affirmed that success is a blessing, and that it is best to respect the choices of roles and their distribution.
On another note, Ilham expressed her great happiness with the reactions to her recent works "Kharif Al-Qalb" and "Shari' Al-A'shi," describing this year as special, although she admitted that the feeling of success is frightening and presents her with greater challenges.
At the "Dana" ceremony, she sent a message of support to the new generation of actresses who participated with her in "Shari' Al-A'shi," confirming that she sees them as her daughters, and encouraging anyone who loves art to strive sincerely away from the chase for fame.
