Ramadan's statement came in the context of congratulating the audience on the new Hijri year, where he noted that this drama offer was directed to him just a week ago, but he preferred to focus on cinema to deliver artistic content that reflects his artistic ambitions. This statement reaffirms Ramadan's status as one of the highest-paid stars in the region, as he had previously topped the lists of artists' salaries in past Ramadan seasons, such as his series "Jaafar El Omda" in 2023, especially during recent years, which have seen fierce competition in Ramadan drama among stars, with a noticeable increase in actors' salaries, as production companies spend millions of dollars annually on producing series. The Egyptian artist is currently completing the filming of the movie "Lion," which blends social and romantic drama with action scenes, written and directed by Mohamed Diab, with a screenplay by Ahmed Hafez, music by Hisham Nazih, and co-produced by Moussa Abu Taleb and Big Time Fun, with global fight choreographer Kaloyan Vodincharov overseeing the training of the cast to ensure the professionalism of the fight scenes.
