وجدت الفنانة اللبنانية باسكال مشعلاني نفسها في قلب عاصفة من الجدل على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، بسبب زلة لغوية بسيطة في منشور لها، سرعان ما تحوّلت إلى مادة للتندر والانتقاد، قبل أن توضح موقفها وتستغل الحدث للترويج لعملها الجديد.
بداية الأزمة جاءت بعدما أعربت مشعلاني عن قلقها من التصعيد العسكري بين إيران وإسرائيل، وكتبت عبر حسابها على «فيسبوك»: «صباح الخير، مع كل أجواء الحرب يلي عم نعيشها، الله يمحي الجميع». غير أن تعبير «يمحي الجميع» فُهم بشكل خاطئ من الجمهور، حيث بدا وكأنها تتمنى زوال الجميع، بينما كانت تقصد «يحمي الجميع»، ما أثار موجة من السخرية والتعليقات الساخرة على مواقع التواصل.
وسارعت مشعلاني إلى حذف المنشور وتعديله، لكن نسخة الخطأ كانت قد انتشرت بالفعل، لتتصدر بعدها «الترند» في عدد من الدول العربية.
وفي محاولة لاحتواء الموقف، خرجت مشعلاني بمنشور جديد توضح فيه قائلة: «هاي مرة تانية، أنا عم بقول يحمي الجميع، بالغلط قلت يمحي». وأكدت أن الخطأ غير مقصود، إلا أن التفاعل مع الموقف استمر، خصوصاً بعد أن استغلته الفنانة بشكل ساخر للترويج لأغنيتها الجديدة.
وكتبت مشعلاني في منشور لاحق: «عن جد الواحد إذا غلط بحرف، مصيبة، وهلقد بيعمل ضجة.. والحرف تصلّح. عن جد اتهرّينا!». وأرفقت المنشور بمقطع من أغنيتها الجديدة «اتهرّينا»، التي طرحتها أخيراً من كلمات رمضان محمد، وألحان محمد شحاتة، وتوزيع ملحم أبو شديد ومحمود صبري.
ورغم الضجة، حصدت الأغنية تفاعلاً جيداً منذ طرحها، فيما رأى البعض أن الفنانة نجحت في تحويل الموقف المحرج إلى دعاية ذكية.
The Lebanese artist Pascal Mishalani found herself at the center of a storm of controversy on social media due to a simple linguistic slip in one of her posts, which quickly turned into material for mockery and criticism, before she clarified her position and took advantage of the event to promote her new work.
The beginning of the crisis came after Mishalani expressed her concern about the military escalation between Iran and Israel, writing on her Facebook account: "Good morning, with all the war atmosphere we are living in, may God erase everyone." However, the expression "erase everyone" was misunderstood by the audience, as it seemed like she was wishing for everyone's disappearance, while she meant "protect everyone," which sparked a wave of ridicule and sarcastic comments on social media.

Mishalani quickly deleted and modified the post, but the erroneous version had already spread, subsequently trending in several Arab countries.
In an attempt to contain the situation, Mishalani posted a new message clarifying, "This is the second time, I meant to say protect everyone, I mistakenly said erase." She confirmed that the mistake was unintentional, yet the interaction with the situation continued, especially after the artist cleverly used it to promote her new song.
Mishalani wrote in a later post: "Honestly, if someone makes a mistake with a letter, it's a disaster, and this is what causes a stir... and the letter can be corrected. Honestly, we got carried away!" She accompanied the post with a clip from her new song "Etahrina," which she recently released, with lyrics by Ramadan Mohammed, music by Mohamed Shehata, and arrangement by Melhem Abu Shaheed and Mahmoud Sabri.
Despite the uproar, the song has received good engagement since its release, while some believe that the artist succeeded in turning the embarrassing situation into clever publicity.
