تحدث المخرج المصري محمد سامي، عن سبب قرار اعتزال الإخراج التليفزيوني لفترة من الوقت، وهو الأمر الذي أعلن عنه في مارس الماضي.
وقال محمد سامي خلال ندوة أقيمت ضمن فعاليات مؤتمر قمة الإعلامي العربي، إن كل مبدع يحتاج إلى فترة راحة للتفكير في الأعمال التي قدمها بالفترة الماضية ويراجع نفسه في الأخطاء حتى لا يقدم مستوى أقل.
وأوضح سامي: «أي مبدع محتاج كل فترة استراحة يفكر فيها في المشوار اللي فات، عمل إيه ووصل لإيه، وناقصه إيه، وعايز يحقق إيه وإيه اللي هيرضيه».
وأضاف المخرج المصري: «بعد ما ربنا سبحانه وتعالى يكرمك بالنجاح والتوفيق، لازم تقفي وقفة مع نفسك، وفي نجاح أكبر من كدة بس دوامة الشغل مش مخلياه يقف يفكر».
وبسؤاله عن سبب نجاحات مسلسلات محمد سامي، وتميزها عن باقي الأعمال التي تنافس في موسم رمضان، أكد المخرج: «دائماً توفيق ربنا لأعمالي أهم من تنفيذي».
وفي شهر مارس الماضي، فاجأ محمد سامي جمهوره بإعلان اعتزاله الإخراج التليفزيوني لفترة، بعد مسلسلي «إش إش» و«سيد الناس» (آخر أعماله في موسم دراما رمضان الماضي لعام 2025).
يعد مسلسل «إش إش»، من بطولة مي عمر، ماجد المصري، انتصار، إدوارد، هالة صدقي، دينا، شيماء سيف، طارق النهري، عصام السقا، علاء مرسي، محمد الشرنوبي، ندى موسى، إيهاب فهمي، حمدي هيكل، أحمد عبدالله، وعدد من ضيوف الشرف وهم: محمد ممدوح، خالد الصاوي، كريم فهمي، محمد عبدالرحمن، أحمد زاهر، والعمل من تأليف وإخراج محمد سامي.
بينما يجمع مسلسل «سيد الناس»، الذي يقوم ببطولته عمرو سعد، كلاً من إلهام شاهين، وريم مصطفى، وأحمد زاهر، وأحمد رزق، وإنجي المقدم، وخالد الصاوي، ومنة فضالي، ونشوى مصطفى، ورنا رئيس، وملك أحمد زاهر، وأحمد فهيم، تأليف خالد صلاح ومحمد سامي، وإخراج محمد سامي.
The Egyptian director Mohamed Sami talked about the reason for his decision to retire from television directing for a period of time, which he announced last March.
During a seminar held as part of the Arab Media Summit, Mohamed Sami stated that every creative person needs a break to reflect on the works they have presented in the past and to review their mistakes so that they do not deliver a lower level of quality.
Sami explained: "Every creative person needs a break to think about their past journey, what they have done, what they have achieved, what they are missing, what they want to accomplish, and what will satisfy them."
The Egyptian director added: "After God blesses you with success and good fortune, you must take a moment to reflect on yourself, and there is greater success than this, but the hustle of work does not allow you to stop and think."
When asked about the reasons behind the successes of Mohamed Sami's series and how they stand out from other works competing in the Ramadan season, the director confirmed: "God's blessing for my works is always more important than my execution."
Last March, Mohamed Sami surprised his audience by announcing his retirement from television directing for a period, following his series "Ish Ish" and "Sayyid Al-Nas" (his last works in the Ramadan drama season of 2025).
The series "Ish Ish" stars Mai Omar, Magdy El-Masry, Entsar, Edward, Hala Sedky, Dina, Shaimaa Saif, Tarek El-Nahry, Essam El-Sakka, Alaa Morsi, Mohamed El-Sharnouby, Nada Moussa, Ihab Fahmy, Hamdy Heikal, Ahmed Abdullah, and several guest stars including Mohamed Mamdouh, Khaled El-Sawy, Karim Fahmy, Mohamed Abdelrahman, Ahmed Zaher, and the work is written and directed by Mohamed Sami.
Meanwhile, the series "Sayyid Al-Nas," starring Amr Saad, features Ilham Shaheen, Reem Mostafa, Ahmed Zaher, Ahmed Rizk, Engy El-Moqaddim, Khaled El-Sawy, Menna Fadaly, Nashwa Mustafa, Rana Rais, Malak Ahmed Zaher, and Ahmed Fahim, written by Khaled Salah and Mohamed Sami, and directed by Mohamed Sami.
