كرّم المجلس الوطني للثقافة والفنون والآداب بالكويت، أمس (الأحد)، الفنانة القديرة حياة الفهد ضمن فعاليات يوم المرأة الكويتية.
وشارك الفنان خالد المظفر صورة له مع الفنانة حياة الفهد وصوراً أخرى لها أثناء التكريم، وكتب: «في يوم المرأة الكويتية، تكريم سيدة الشاشة الخليجية حياة الفهد».
وتابع المظفر: «إذا أردت أن تعرف مدى رُقي أمّة فانظر إلى نسائها. إذا أردت أن تبني أمّة فابدأ بنسائها. وإذا أردت أن تهدم حضارة فابدأ بنسائها كل عام والمرأة الكويتية مصدر فخر في كل المجالات».
وكان المجلس الوطني للثقافة والفنون والآداب قد أعلن حفل تكريم عدد من النساء الكويتيات تحت عنوان «قصة نجاح.. نماذج مشرقة للمرأة الكويتية» بمناسبة يوم المرأة الكويتية، الذي أقيم في مسرح مكتبة الكويت الوطنية.
The National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters in Kuwait honored the esteemed artist Hayat Al-Fahad yesterday (Sunday) as part of the Kuwaiti Women's Day celebrations.
Artist Khaled Al-Mudhafar shared a photo of himself with artist Hayat Al-Fahad and other pictures of her during the ceremony, writing: "On Kuwaiti Women's Day, honoring the lady of the Gulf screen, Hayat Al-Fahad."
Al-Mudhafar continued: "If you want to know the level of sophistication of a nation, look at its women. If you want to build a nation, start with its women. And if you want to destroy a civilization, start with its women. Every year, Kuwaiti women are a source of pride in all fields."
The National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters had announced a ceremony to honor several Kuwaiti women under the title "Success Story... Bright Models of Kuwaiti Women" on the occasion of Kuwaiti Women's Day, which took place at the Kuwait National Library Theater.
