خرجت الفنانة المصرية القديرة صفية العمري، للرد على حقيقة اعتزالها الفن نهائياً، وذلك بعد ابتعادها عن المشاركة في أعمال فنية خلال السنوات الأخيرة.
ونفت صفية العمري خلال لقائها مع برنامج «كلام الناس»، اعتزالها الفن، مؤكدة أن الفنان الحقيقي لا يؤمن بمصطلح الاعتزال، مبررة ابتعادها عن الساحة الفنية بأن ما عرض عليها من سيناريوهات أخيراً لم ينال إعجابها.
وأوضحت صفية العمري: «أنا معتزلتش الفن، ومفيش فنان بيعتزل أبدا، ده اعتزاله معناها وفاته، ولكن هو بالنسبة لي أنا اعتزال الأدوار اللي متناسبنيش».
وأشارت صفية العمري إلى أنها عُرض عليها خلال الفترة الماضية العديد من السيناريوهات، ولكنها كانت غير مناسبة لمشوارها الفني، معقبة: «المشاهد يتم كتابتها على الهواء وإحنا بنصور فبعتذر لأن مقدرش أهين تاريخي».
جدير بالذكر أن آخر أعمال صفية العمري في الدراما التلفزيونية كان الجزء السادس من مسلسل ليالي الحلمية الذي عرض عام 2016، والمسلسل من إخراج مجدي أبو عميرة تأليف أيمن بهجت قمر، وشارك فيه إلهام شاهين وهشام سليم ومحمد رياض وحنان شوقي وإنعام سالوسة وسامح الصريطي ودرة وسميرة عبد العزيز وغيرهم.
أما عن آخر أعمالها السينمائية فكان مشاركتها عام 2016 في فيلم فص ملح وداخ مع عمرو عبد الجليل وهبة مجدي ومحمد متولي وإنعام سالوسة وويزو وحمدي الميرغني وأمجد عامر ومصطفى أبو سريع وجهاد سعد وعدد آخر من الفنانين.

The esteemed Egyptian artist Safia El Emari has come forward to address the rumors regarding her complete retirement from the arts, following her absence from participating in artistic works in recent years.
During her interview with the program "Kalam Al Nas," Safia El Emari denied retiring from the arts, asserting that a true artist does not believe in the concept of retirement. She justified her absence from the artistic scene by stating that the scripts offered to her recently did not appeal to her.
Safia El Emari explained: "I haven’t retired from art, and no artist ever truly retires; that would mean their death. For me, it’s about retiring from roles that don’t suit me."
She pointed out that she has been offered many scripts in the past period, but they were not suitable for her artistic journey, adding: "The scenes are written on the spot while we are filming, so I apologize because I cannot dishonor my history."
It is worth noting that Safia El Emari's last work in television drama was the sixth season of the series "Layali El Helmia," which aired in 2016. The series was directed by Magdy Abu Amira and written by Ayman Bahgat Kamar, featuring stars such as Elham Shahin, Hisham Selim, Mohamed Riyad, Hanan Shawqi, Enam Salousa, Samih El Seryty, Dura, Samira Abdel Aziz, and others.
As for her latest cinematic work, it was her participation in the 2016 film "Fas Malh W Dakhl" alongside Amr Abdel Gelil, Heba Magdy, Mohamed Metwally, Enam Salousa, Wizo, Hamdy El Merghany, Amgad Amer, Mustafa Abu Sari, Jihad Saad, and several other artists.
