The residents of the "Al-Abla" center, which is part of the Bisha governorate in the Asir region, are waiting to see one of the most important service facilities represented by the ambulance teams in their center and the affiliated villages, to relieve them of the burden of thinking about how to act in the event of an accident, God forbid.
According to Mohammed Al-Aklabi, Abdullah Ali Al-Aklabi, and Mohammed Al-Bishi, who spoke to "Okaz," the center is in dire need of an ambulance center or team to be among them and make them feel safe; because currently, whenever they need an ambulance team and call, they receive a response from the Al-Baha region, even though the Al-Abla center is part of the Asir region.
They add, saying: Their hopes and desires do not stop at the presence of ambulance teams, but they are also waiting to see a police station due to the urgent need, as our current connection with the Al-Juba police station is about 80 kilometers away. Therefore, when any incident occurs that requires a security presence, the distance and time are factors that do not serve the victims. Mohammed Al-Aklabi adds, saying: "The center witnesses traffic accidents and various incidents that require follow-up on cases, and here the need to open a police station is essential."
In the same context, Gharam Allah Al-Aklabi adds, saying: "The area is famous for its many and large valleys, and there are no culverts or bridges, and it occasionally witnesses incidents of entrapment, drowning, and fires, which requires the intervention of rescue and firefighting teams as quickly as possible. However, what happens is that the teams arrive at the Al-Abla center from the Tabala center, which is about 50 kilometers away, and this is a long distance. Therefore, we hope to see these services in the Al-Abla center as soon as possible."
