We are faced here with a direct assault on the land of the Two Holy Mosques, on the depth of the Saudi state, and on the concept of national security in its broader sense.

It is true that condemnation statements have been issued in previous years from brotherly countries denouncing the ballistic missiles launched towards Mecca and the attacks targeting Riyadh. It is also true that these public stances are politically recorded. But the question that can no longer be ignored is: what comes after the condemnation?

Because when facts accumulate, they force everyone to re-read the scene without embellishments.

In January 2026, the U.S. Treasury Department announced sanctions on networks that explicitly facilitate the smuggling of Iranian oil and transfer funds to finance and arm the Houthi group. Notably and dangerously, the official statement mentioned commercial entities registered in Dubai and Sharjah, which operate - according to the Treasury - within a financial and logistical facilitation system that ultimately reaches the Houthis.

Here, we are not talking about media analysis, nor about accusations from a regional party, but about an official American statement, supported by reports from international news agencies such as "Reuters." This raises a political and security question that cannot be evaded: how can the attacks on Saudi Arabia be officially condemned while the financial pathways that feed the perpetrators remain open or unregulated?

Condemnation, when separated from action, turns into a formal stance. In fact, the most dangerous aspect of mere condemnation is that it provides a moral cover, while the realities on the ground continue in the opposite direction. A missile does not launch from thin air, nor is it manufactured from slogans, nor is it funded by statements.

The equation has become clear:

Every suspicious financial transfer,

Every front company,

Every leniency in monitoring energy trade,

Could ultimately turn into a missile flying towards a Saudi city.

Here, silence is no longer an option, nor is politeness a policy, nor is sensitivity a justification.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia does not demand anything beyond logic. It does not seek rivalries, nor media escalation, nor to impose arbitrary responsibilities. What it asks for is simple and clear: that the declared positions align with practical behavior, and that every window through which money could slip into the hands of those targeting its security is closed.

National security is not managed by intentions, but by systems, and it is not protected by statements, but by strict monitoring, accountability, and transparency. Anyone who believes they can stand in a gray area between public condemnation and practical facilitation is misjudging the awareness of nations and the seriousness of the phase.

Today, the question is no longer: who launched the missile?

But: who funded it? Who facilitated it? Who turned a blind eye?

These questions are not provocations, but a sovereign necessity.

And without clear answers, condemnation will remain just a line...
