With the tremendous technological advancement in our present time, the concept of security is no longer limited to its traditional tools. We now have a new term of great importance: "cybersecurity," which represents a significant concern for all countries. Therefore, the Kingdom has been proactive in acquiring the latest technologies in a short period, developing them quickly and advancedly with high professional expertise, to rank first globally in the Cybersecurity Index for two consecutive years, 2024 - 2025, as stated in the Global Competitiveness Report for 2025 issued by the World Competitiveness Center of the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Switzerland.

In this regard, "Cyberani," one of the digital oil giant Aramco's companies specializing in cybersecurity services and solutions, announced achieving a global milestone in the (MITRE ATT&CK) evaluations for 2025. This term refers to an advanced technical assessment based on simulating the behavior of real-world threat actors, aiming to measure how cybersecurity solutions and cyber threat detection services interact with the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used in attacks. Their performance is evaluated based on their ability to detect and respond to attacks, and these assessments help in:

- "Improving cybersecurity": by understanding cyber attacks and enhancing defenses.

- "Selecting security products": based on their performance against real attacks.

- "Enhancing security awareness": by understanding security threats and improving responses to them.

Cyberani achieved exceptional results in the evaluations, granting it a 100% detection rate for seven key offensive tactics, which are:

1- Information gathering methods.

2- Accessing login data methods.

3- Malware execution methods.

4- Data theft methods.

5- Internal movement methods of attacks.

6- Persistence methods.

7- Reconnaissance activities.

This achievement crowns Cyberani's capabilities in protecting the national cyberspace and enhancing its security, while also strengthening its presence in the global cybersecurity landscape, confirming the advancement of its cybersecurity innovations on an international level.

As a result of this high level of technical performance in the evaluations, Cyberani deserved to achieve first place in the Middle East among its peers in this field, and it was granted a seat on the advisory council for the MITRE ATT&CK evaluations (ATT&CK Evals Participant Advisory Council), to play a key role in developing and improving the methodologies of future evaluation cycles, enhancing the alignment of evaluation mechanisms with the needs of cybersecurity defense systems in the region and the world, while simultaneously reinforcing the Kingdom's role in actively contributing to shaping the future of cybersecurity globally.
