بينما تحدثت أنباء محلية عن مشاجرة عنيفة وإصابات داخل سجن العمارة المركزي بمحافظة ميسان، خرجت وزارة العدل العراقية بتوضيح رسمي كشفت فيه تفاصيل الواقعة، مؤكدة أن ما حدث كان مشاجرة محدودة بين عدد من النزلاء، وأن القوات المختصة تمكنت من احتواء الموقف خلال وقت قصير.
وقالت دائرة الإصلاح العراقية التابعة لوزارة العدل، في بيان صدر اليوم السبت، إن مشاجرة وقعت صباحاً بين عدد من النزلاء داخل سجن العمارة المركزي، موضحة أن القوة الإجرائية المختصة تمكنت من السيطرة عليها وفق الإجراءات المعتمدة.
وأكدت الدائرة أن الوضع الأمني داخل السجن مستقر وتحت السيطرة، ولم تُسجل أي تطورات أخرى، مشيرة إلى أن إدارة المؤسسة تواصل عملها بصورة طبيعية.
ودعت وسائل الإعلام إلى تحري الدقة في نقل المعلومات، وعدم تضخيم الحادث أو تداول أخبار غير دقيقة قد تثير القلق، وذلك في أعقاب انتشار تقارير محلية تحدثت عن وقوع اشتباكات عنيفة بين مجموعتين من النزلاء، واستخدام آلات حادة.
وفي رواية سبقت صدور التوضيح الرسمي، نقلت وكالة «شفق نيوز» عن مصدر أمني أن المشاجرة اندلعت بين مجموعتين تُعرفان باسم مجموعتي «بغداد» و«العمارة»، وأسفرت، بحسب المصدر، عن إصابة 8 أشخاص.
وأضاف المصدر أن أحد المصابين كان في حالة خطرة، وأن المصابين نُقلوا إلى مستشفى الزهراوي وسط مدينة ميسان لتلقي العلاج، وسط إجراءات أمنية مشددة.
ولم يتضمن بيان دائرة الإصلاح العراقية تأكيداً لأعداد المصابين أو طبيعة الإصابات التي تحدث عنها المصدر الأمني، فيما لم تُعلن أسباب المشاجرة أو تفاصيلها.

The Iraqi Rehabilitation Department, affiliated with the Ministry of Justice, stated in a statement issued today, Saturday, that a brawl took place in the morning among several inmates inside the Al-Amara Central Prison, explaining that the specialized enforcement force was able to control it according to the established procedures.
The department confirmed that the security situation inside the prison is stable and under control, and no further developments have been recorded, noting that the institution's administration continues to operate normally.
It called on the media to exercise accuracy in reporting information and to avoid exaggerating the incident or circulating inaccurate news that could cause concern, following the spread of local reports that spoke of violent clashes between two groups of inmates and the use of sharp tools.
In a narrative that preceded the official clarification, the "Shafaq News" agency quoted a security source stating that the brawl erupted between two groups known as the "Baghdad" and "Al-Amara" groups, resulting, according to the source, in the injury of 8 individuals.
The source added that one of the injured was in critical condition, and the injured were transferred to Al-Zahrawi Hospital in the center of Maysan city for treatment, amid heightened security measures.
The statement from the Iraqi Rehabilitation Department did not confirm the number of injured or the nature of the injuries mentioned by the security source, nor did it announce the reasons for the brawl or its details.
