زار سفير جمهورية الهند لدى المملكة العربية السعودية فيبول، مؤسسة عكاظ للصحافة والنشر، والتقى رئيس تحرير صحيفة «عكاظ» والمشرف العام على صحيفة «سعودي جازيت» الزميل جميل الذيابي، والمدير العام عبدالله الحسون، وبحضور نائب رئيس التحرير عبدالله عبيان، ومساعد رئيس التحرير خالد الجارالله، وعدد من قيادات المؤسسة.

ورافق السفير في الزيارة القنصل العام للهند في جدة فهد أحمد خان سوري، وقنصل شؤون التجارة والإعلام محمد شبير كي.
وتناول اللقاء العلاقات السعودية - الهندية، وما يجمع البلدين من روابط تاريخية وشراكة اقتصادية، وبحث سبل التعاون الإعلامي ودور الصحافة في مواكبة تطور العلاقات الثنائية، والتعريف بمجالات التعاون، وتعزيز التواصل الثقافي والمعرفي بين الشعبين.
واطّلع السفير والوفد المرافق، خلال جولة في أقسام الصحيفة ومركز المعلومات، على الأرشيف الصحفي، وما يحتفظ به من صور ومواد توثّق محطات العلاقات السعودية - الهندية والزيارات المتبادلة بين قيادتَي البلدين. وشاهد الوفد عرضاً مرئياً استعرض تاريخ هذه العلاقات وتطورها، وزار جناحاً خُصّص لصور وموضوعات تاريخية نشرتها «عكاظ»، تعكس مواكبتها للعلاقات الثنائية على امتداد عقود.
وأعرب فيبول عن سعادته بالعمل في المملكة، مؤكداً أن العلاقات السعودية - الهندية تستند إلى تاريخ طويل من الروابط بين البلدين والشعبين، وتشهد تعاوناً متنامياً في المجالات الاقتصادية وغيرها من المجالات ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
ونوّه بأهمية الزيارات المتبادلة بين قيادتَي البلدين خلال الفترة الأخيرة، ودورها في توثيق العلاقات وتعزيز الشراكة الثنائية، معرباً عن تطلعه إلى مواصلة البناء على هذه الروابط، وتوسيع مجالات التعاون بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة للبلدين.
The Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Vipul, visited the Okaz Foundation for Press and Publishing, where he met with the Editor-in-Chief of the "Okaz" newspaper and the General Supervisor of the "Saudi Gazette," colleague Jameel Al-Dhiabi, and the General Director Abdullah Al-Hassoun, in the presence of the Deputy Editor-in-Chief Abdullah Abiyan, Assistant Editor-in-Chief Khalid Al-Jarallah, and several leaders of the institution.

Accompanying the ambassador on the visit was the Consul General of India in Jeddah, Fahd Ahmed Khan Suri, and the Consul for Trade and Media, Mohammad Shabeer Ki.
The meeting discussed Saudi-Indian relations, the historical ties between the two countries, and economic partnership, as well as ways to enhance media cooperation and the role of journalism in keeping pace with the development of bilateral relations, introducing areas of collaboration, and strengthening cultural and intellectual communication between the two peoples.
The ambassador and the accompanying delegation, during a tour of the newspaper's sections and the information center, were briefed on the press archive, which holds images and materials documenting the milestones of Saudi-Indian relations and the reciprocal visits between the leaderships of the two countries. The delegation watched an audiovisual presentation that showcased the history of these relations and their development, and visited a section dedicated to historical images and topics published by "Okaz," reflecting its coverage of bilateral relations over the decades.
Vipul expressed his happiness at working in the Kingdom, affirming that Saudi-Indian relations are based on a long history of ties between the two countries and peoples, and witness growing cooperation in economic fields and other areas of mutual interest.
He highlighted the importance of the recent reciprocal visits between the leaderships of the two countries and their role in strengthening relations and enhancing the bilateral partnership, expressing his hope to continue building on these ties and expanding areas of cooperation to serve the mutual interests of both countries.
