A former sniper in the U.S. Army claimed that a secret military operation conducted near the "Area 51" base resulted in the death of at least one American soldier during an alleged encounter with reptilian-like extraterrestrial beings.
According to Nick Bates, who previously served as a sniper in Iraq and Afghanistan and co-hosts the "Liberty Risk" podcast, he heard details of the incident from a member of an elite unit belonging to the U.S. Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) during a discussion session while filming a war movie in Poland.
According to the account reported by the "Daily Mail," the unit was summoned from Fort Bragg in North Carolina to carry out an emergency mission inside an underground tunnel near the military area after communications were lost and a rapid response team went missing.
Bates stated that the team members were equipped with advanced weapons allegedly capable of firing bursts of directed energy instead of bullets, before being transported by a Black Hawk helicopter to a site containing advanced technical equipment.
He added, citing the source, that the team encountered three bipedal creatures with a reptilian appearance inside the tunnels, and the engagement ended with the death of the three creatures, along with an American soldier who was shot in the chest by a weapon of the same type, according to the account.
The allegations also included that the soldier's body was burned at the operation site, despite some of his colleagues objecting for religious reasons related to their Catholic beliefs, while his family was reportedly informed that he died in a training accident. The source also claimed that the survivors underwent investigations and signed agreements preventing them from disclosing details of the mission, and they were subjected to vital checks of their eyes and hands.
These claims come at a time when U.S. authorities assert that there is no reliable physical evidence proving the existence of extraterrestrial beings or confirming the circulating account of such an encounter.
Despite Bates stating that his source recounted the events with awareness and without appearing disturbed, the report noted that he faced strong reactions when subsequent questions about the story were posed to him.
The hypothesis of reptilian-like extraterrestrial beings living among humans or hiding in positions of influence dates back decades and continues to circulate in some circles interested in conspiracy theories. Discussions about the existence of life beyond Earth have also been linked to previous statements from figures who spoke about alleged secret programs, including astrophysicist Eric Davis and retired Major David Grusch.
However, there is no independent reliable evidence to prove the alleged battle or the accuracy of the details in the account, and this information remains within the realm of unverified claims.
