زار ولي عهد دبي، نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الدفاع الإماراتي الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، قائد طائرة «فلاي دبي» سميت ماتشهار، الذي يتلقى العلاج في المستشفى إثر تعرضه للطعن من مساعده همام الهمامي خلال الرحلة.
ونشر الشيخ حمدان بن محمد، عبر حسابه في منصة «إكس»، صوراً من زيارته للطيار في المستشفى، مشيداً بشجاعته ومسؤوليته وحرصه على سلامة الركاب.
وقال: «أثناء زيارة سميت ماتشهار.. طيار فلاي دبي الذي جسد أعلى درجات الشجاعة والمسؤولية والحرص على حياة الناس».
وأضاف أن ماتشهار يحظى بكل التقدير والثناء من قيادة دولة الإمارات، معرباً عن الفخر بكونه جزءاً من فريق العمل وقصة الإمارات وتجربتها الإنسانية، واصفاً إياها بـ«وطن المحبة.. ووطن السلام.. ووطن الحياة».
The Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the UAE, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, visited the Fly Dubai pilot, Samit Machhar, who is receiving treatment in the hospital after being stabbed by his assistant, Hamam Al-Hamami, during the flight.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed shared photos from his visit to the pilot in the hospital via his account on the "X" platform, praising his bravery, responsibility, and commitment to the safety of the passengers.
He said: "During the visit to Samit Machhar.. the Fly Dubai pilot who embodied the highest levels of courage, responsibility, and concern for people's lives."
He added that Machhar enjoys great appreciation and praise from the leadership of the UAE, expressing pride in being part of the team and the story of the UAE and its humanitarian experience, describing it as "a homeland of love.. a homeland of peace.. a homeland of life."
