تحولت ملاسنة عائلية داخل منطقة الشعب شمالي العاصمة بغداد إلى مسرح لمأساة مزدوجة، بعدما أودى النزاع بحياة شخصين من أسرة واحدة في نفس اللحظة، أحدهما بطلق ناري والآخر إثر صدمة مفاجئة.
بدأت الأحداث بنشوب نزاع حاد بين شقيقين داخل المنزل، وسرعان ما تطور الأمر إلى سحب أحدهما سلاحاً نارياً وإطلاق الرصاص المباشر على أخيه، ليخرّ صريعاً في الحال متأثراً بإصابته البليغة قبل تمكن أفراد العائلة من التدخل.
ولم تتوقف الفاجعة عند حدود إطلاق النار، إذ سقط ابن شقيق الطرفين المتواجد في مسرح الحادثة أرضاً بشكل مفاجئ أثناء الملاسنات. وأفاد مصدر أمني بأن الفحوصات الأولية رجحت وفاة الشاب بسكتة قلبية حادة ناجمة عن الصدمة والرعب المباشر أثناء معاينته لمشهد القتل، بانتظار التقرير النهائي لدائرة الطب العدلي.
وسرعان ما طوقت القوات الأمنية موقع الجريمة فور ورود البلاغ، حيث جرى القبض على الجاني وتجريده من السلاح المستخدم، وتحويله إلى التوقيف لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية، في حين نُقلت جثمانا الضحيتين لإتمام الفحوصات الفنية.
A family quarrel in the Al-Shaab area north of Baghdad turned into a scene of double tragedy, as the dispute claimed the lives of two individuals from the same family at the same moment, one from a gunshot and the other from a sudden shock.
The events began with a heated argument between two brothers inside the house, which quickly escalated when one of them pulled out a firearm and fired directly at his brother, who fell dead instantly from his severe injuries before family members could intervene.
The tragedy did not stop at the gunfire, as the nephew of both parties present at the scene suddenly collapsed to the ground during the altercation. A security source reported that initial examinations suggested the young man died from a heart attack caused by the shock and direct terror of witnessing the murder, pending the final report from the forensic department.
Security forces quickly cordoned off the crime scene upon receiving the report, where the perpetrator was arrested and stripped of the weapon used, and taken into custody to take legal action, while the bodies of the two victims were transferred for technical examinations.
