كشفت شرطة محافظة ديالى العراقية تفاصيل جريمة قتل وقعت فجر اليوم، بعدما عثرت القوات الأمنية على جثة شاب مصاب بطلق ناري قرب طريق بلدروز – بعقوبة، قبل أن تقود التحقيقات وجمع الأدلة إلى تحديد هوية المشتبه به والقبض عليه خلال فترة وجيزة.
وقال قائد شرطة ديالى، محمد كاظم عطية، إن التحقيقات الأولية أظهرت أن المشتبه به استدرج الضحية إلى منزله، حيث أطلق النار عليه، ثم نقل الجثة والسيارة إلى منطقة متروكة خلف معسكر كركوش جنوب قضاء بلدروز، في محاولة لإخفاء آثار الجريمة وإبعادها عن المواقع التي تغطيها كاميرات المراقبة.
وأضاف عطية أن المشتبه به نقل السيارة لاحقًا إلى منطقة أخرى في محيط بلدروز، بهدف تضليل التحقيقات وإبعاد الشبهات عن موقع ارتكاب الجريمة.
وأوضح أن فرق التحقيق تمكنت، بعد تحليل الأدلة وجمع المعلومات، من تحديد هوية المشتبه به وإلقاء القبض عليه، مشيرًا إلى أنه اعترف خلال التحقيقات الأولية بارتكاب الجريمة.
وبحسب إفادة الشرطة، فإن الدافع وراء الجريمة يعود إلى خلافات مالية بين الطرفين، مرتبطة بديون تقدر بنحو 70 مليون دينار عراقي، أي ما يقارب 53 ألف دولار أمريكي.
وتواصل الأجهزة الأمنية في ديالى إجراءات التحقيق مع المتهم، تمهيدًا لإحالته إلى الجهات القضائية المختصة لاستكمال الإجراءات القانونية بحقه.
The Iraqi Diyala Police revealed details of a murder that occurred early today, after security forces found the body of a young man with a gunshot wound near the Baladruz - Baqubah road, before investigations and evidence collection led to identifying the suspect and arresting him within a short period.
Diyala Police Chief, Mohammed Kazem Atiyah, stated that initial investigations showed that the suspect lured the victim to his home, where he shot him, then transported the body and the car to an abandoned area behind the Kirkush camp south of Baladruz, in an attempt to conceal the crime and move it away from areas covered by surveillance cameras.
Atiyah added that the suspect later moved the car to another area in the vicinity of Baladruz, aiming to mislead the investigations and divert suspicion from the crime scene.
He explained that investigation teams were able, after analyzing evidence and gathering information, to identify the suspect and arrest him, noting that he confessed during initial investigations to committing the crime.
According to police reports, the motive behind the crime was financial disputes between the two parties, related to debts estimated at around 70 million Iraqi dinars, which is approximately 53,000 US dollars.
The security agencies in Diyala continue their investigation procedures with the accused, in preparation for referring him to the competent judicial authorities to complete the legal proceedings against him.
