The strings of deception begin on platforms like "Facebook," "Instagram," and "TikTok," where brokers and unlicensed companies post scenes of modern sports facilities, claiming to offer professional training under the supervision of internationally licensed coaches, securing accommodation, and facilitating contracts with well-known clubs.

Faced with these temptations, dozens of dreaming Arab families rush to secure their children's athletic future by borrowing or selling their possessions to provide hefty amounts estimated in thousands of dollars to cover fees and travel expenses.

As soon as the minors arrive at the promised destination, all rosy promises vanish, and the victims find themselves trapped in cramped apartments lacking basic safety standards and nutritional requirements for athletes, gathered under tragic living conditions.

The reality of the scam becomes evident in the absence of any serious football training, as the activities are limited to formal training sessions in rented fields for a few hours, without any technical programs or medical care, leaving the minors without legal accompaniment while their families are demanded additional amounts under the pretext of settling illegal residency documents.

Experts in sports law believe that the recorded actions go beyond fraud and deception to raise suspicions of human trafficking and the material exploitation of minors, amidst calls for decisive intervention to regulate these fake academies.

Specialists emphasize the necessity for parents to take urgent preventive steps, including:

• Ensuring that the academies are officially accredited by local sports federations and the international federation (FIFA).
• Limiting dealings to licensed agents and avoiding digital brokers.
• Promptly reporting any suspicious intermediary networks to judicial and security authorities.
