وكانت تفاصيل القصة المظلمة بدأت تتكشف بين نوفمبر 2021 ومارس الماضي، إذ يشتبه في أن المتهم كان يدسّ أدوية منومة مجهدة، أو عقار «الكيتامين» المخدر، لشريكته في السكن وفي غرف الفنادق، ليحول جسدها الغائب عن الوعي إلى مسرح لجرائمه دون أن تدري.

- فحص أكثر من 42000 ملف فيديو جرى تحليلها بالكامل.
- رصد 1700 مقطع جنائي صوّرها المتهم بنفسه ونشرها على الشبكة.
- تحليل نحو 6000 محادثة نصية كشفت شبكة معقدة من العلاقات المشبوهة.
كان الخيط الأول الذي قاد السلطات لفك شفرة هذه الشبكة يبدو عادياً، لكن تداعيات «قضية جيزيل بيليكو» الشهيرة في فرنسا جعلت المحققين يتتبعون البصمات المماثلة، ليقع المتهم في قبضة الأمن بعد كشف مقاطعه المروعة.

This trial taking place in Hanover is just the "tip of the iceberg," as the intensive analyses conducted by the police revealed cross-border surprises, resulting in the opening of 78 independent legal proceedings against individuals connected to the accused.
The threads extended to more than 10 countries, where international investigations led to the issuance of an arrest warrant that was indeed executed in France, alongside evidence indicating the presence of a new victim in Poland and tracking the reactions of authorities there. Even more alarming, investigations are still pursuing evidence suggesting the existence of around 100 potential victims whose identities have not yet been determined!
As the sessions commenced, the accused chose to remain completely silent, adhering to his legal right and the principle of "presumption of innocence," while the court awaits the testimony of the former partner whose life was shattered in a moment of betrayal. The lawyer representing the victim summarized the tragedy in poignant words, emphasizing that behind the numbers and significant media attention: "There is a person who has had her absolute trust in those closest to her shattered... and was violated in the place she thought was safe."
The curtain has not yet fallen, and it is likely that the ongoing trial will reveal new secrets that could turn the tables on a wide network of victims and suspects around the world.
