تمكنت الأجهزة الأمنية في محافظة نينوى من إحباط جريمة مروعة وإنقاذ طفلة رضيعة من موت محقق على يد والدها، الذي حاول ذبحها بسكين داخل منزله وهو تحت تأثير الكحول.
وأفاد مصدر في قيادة شرطة نينوى بأن دورية تابعة لقسم شرطة النجدة تدخلت في توقيت حاسم للسيطرة على الموقف، وجرى توقيف المتهم واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة بحقه، بالتوازي مع تأمين سلامة الرضيعة ورعايتها. وقد وثق مقطع فيديو انتشر على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي لحظة ظهور عنصرين أمنيين بجانب دورية وهما يحملان الطفلة الناجية.

A source in the Nineveh Police Command reported that a patrol from the emergency police department intervened at a critical moment to control the situation, leading to the arrest of the suspect and the necessary legal actions being taken against him, alongside ensuring the safety and care of the infant. A video clip that circulated on social media captured the moment two security personnel appeared next to the patrol carrying the rescued baby.
