في اعترافات اتسمت بالصراحة والشفافية، فجّر الفنان المطرب المصري أحمد فهمي مفاجآت حول طفولته وشبابه قبل عالم الشهرة، مؤكداً أنه نشأ في عائلة كانت تعيش «تحت خط الفقر»، وكيف انعكست تلك الظروف القاسية على تكوين شخصيته ونظرته إلى المال والانتقادات.
وخلال استضافته في برنامج «المحتوى رقم 7» مع صانع المحتوى محمد طاهر، أوضح فهمي أنه كان يشعر بالفارق الشاسع بينه وبين محيطه، لاسيما أثناء دراسته في معهد الموسيقى العربية، إذ قال: «وُلدت في عائلة تحت خط الفقر، وعندما درست في المعهد كنت أفقر طالب، ولا أعرف كيف أتعامل مع الناس، وكنت هدفاً مستمراً للسخرية»، مشيراً إلى أن تلك المضايقات منحته حصانة نفسية لاحقاً في مواجهة الانتقادات، وأكسبته قدرة عالية على التكيف مع الموارد المحدودة.
وكشف فهمي موقفاً يعكس حجم معاناته وتدبيره المالي في تلك المرحلة، مبيناً أنه عندما كان يتقاضى راتباً شهرياً لا يتجاوز 600 جنيه، ظل يرتدي بنطال جينز واحداً فقط على مدار 4 سنوات متواصلة، بهدف توفير الأموال وتوجيهها لتعليم نجله في مستوى جيد بدلاً من إنفاقها على مظهره الشخصي.
وعلى الصعيد الفني، يواصل فهمي نشاطه بالتزامن مع طرح البرومو الترويجي لمسلسله الجديد «اسأل روحك»، الذي يجمعه بالفنانة ياسمين رئيس، والمقرر عرضه ضمن الموسم الدرامي لرمضان 2026.
In candid and transparent confessions, Egyptian artist and singer Ahmed Fahmy revealed surprises about his childhood and youth before the world of fame, confirming that he grew up in a family living "below the poverty line," and how those harsh circumstances reflected on his personality and his views on money and criticism.
During his appearance on the program "Content Number 7" with content creator Mohamed Taher, Fahmy explained that he felt a vast difference between himself and his surroundings, especially while studying at the Arabic Music Institute, saying: "I was born into a family below the poverty line, and when I studied at the institute, I was the poorest student, I didn't know how to interact with people, and I was a constant target for mockery," pointing out that those harassments later gave him psychological immunity in facing criticism and endowed him with a high ability to adapt to limited resources.
Fahmy revealed a situation that reflects the extent of his struggles and financial management during that period, indicating that when he was earning a monthly salary of no more than 600 pounds, he wore only one pair of jeans for four consecutive years, aiming to save money and direct it towards providing a good education for his son instead of spending it on his personal appearance.
On the artistic front, Fahmy continues his activities alongside the promotional release of his new series "Ask Your Soul," which stars him alongside actress Yasmin Raeis, set to be aired during the Ramadan drama season of 2026.
