أفادت المنظمة البحرية الدولية بتسجيل 68 حادثًا بحريًا في الخليج والمناطق المائية المجاورة خلال الأشهر الستة الماضية، في ظل استمرار الاضطرابات، التي أثرت في حركة الملاحة عبر مضيق هرمز، أحد أبرز الممرات لصادرات النفط والغاز العالمية.
وأوضحت بيانات المنظمة أن الحوادث وقعت بمعدل حادث واحد كل 2.6 يوم تقريبًا، وأسفرت عن مقتل ما لا يقل عن 20 بحارًا وعاملًا في الموانئ، وإصابة 35 آخرين، فيما لا يزال شخص واحد في عداد المفقودين.
وشكلت ناقلات النفط نحو 50% من إجمالي السفن المتضررة، فيما مثلت سفن الحاويات 20%، وناقلات البضائع السائبة 15% من الحوادث المسجلة.
من جانبها، صنفت هيئة عمليات التجارة البحرية البريطانية 47 حادثًا على أنها هجمات مباشرة، فيما أظهرت البيانات تفاوتًا في وتيرة الحوادث خلال مراحل النزاع المختلفة.
The International Maritime Organization reported 68 maritime incidents in the Gulf and surrounding waters over the past six months, amid ongoing unrest that has affected navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, one of the key routes for global oil and gas exports.
The organization's data indicated that the incidents occurred at a rate of approximately one incident every 2.6 days, resulting in the deaths of at least 20 sailors and port workers, with 35 others injured, while one person remains missing.
Oil tankers accounted for about 50% of the total affected vessels, while container ships represented 20%, and bulk carriers made up 15% of the recorded incidents.
For its part, the UK Maritime Trade Operations classified 47 incidents as direct attacks, while the data showed fluctuations in the frequency of incidents during different phases of the conflict.
