في ضربة أمنية موجعة لمروجي السموم وشبكات التهريب عابرة الحدود، سحقت الأجهزة الأمنية في الكويت محاولة خبيثة لتهريب كمية ضخمة من مادة «الشبو» شديدة الخطورة، بعد أن ظن المهرب الآسيوي أن حيلته المبتكرة ستعبر بسلام دون أن تثير الشكوك.
العملية التي نفذتها الإدارة العامة لمكافحة المخدرات أسفرت عن ضبط وافد آسيوي، أظهرت التحريات والرصد الميداني تورطه المباشر في جلب الشحنة القاتلة من إحدى الدول الآسيوية عبر طرود الشحن الجوي، تمهيداً لترويجها وضخها داخل الشارع الكويتي.
عقول إجرامية في مواجهة العيون الساهرة
كواليس التحريات كشفت عن أسلوب شيطاني لجأ إليه المتهم لتجاوز المنافذ الأمنية، إذ قام بتمويه نحو كيلوغرامين من مادة الشبو وإخفائها ببراعة شديدة داخل تجاويف عدد من الكتب، مراهناً على أن المظهر الثقافي للطرود سيبعد عنه الشبهات.
لكن يقظة رجال المكافحة في الكويت والخبرة الميدانية كانت بالمرصاد، إذ نجح الفريق الأمني في تفكيك خدعة «التجاويف السرية» واختراق أغطية الكتب للكشف عن المادة المخدرة المخبأة بدقة، ليتم إسقاط المهرب وتوقيفه متلبساً قبل تفريغ الشحنة.
وعلى الفور، أحالت السلطات المختصة المتهم والمضبوطات إلى جهات الاختصاص لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية المشددة بحقه، فيما لم تتوقف الضربات عند الحدود المحلية في الكويت، إذ جرى تنسيق عاجل وتخاطب رسمي مع الأجهزة المعنية في الدولة الآسيوية القادمة منها الشحنة لملاحقة الأطراف المتورطة هناك.
وتأتي هذه الضربة لتؤكد من جديد أن اليقظة الأمنية في الكويت تشكل سداً منيعاً أمام حيل المهربين، مهما تنوعت وسائل التمويه والإخفاء.

The operation carried out by the General Administration for Drug Control resulted in the arrest of an Asian expatriate, with investigations and field surveillance revealing his direct involvement in bringing the lethal shipment from one of the Asian countries via air freight, in preparation for promoting and injecting it into the Kuwaiti street.
Criminal Minds Against Vigilant Eyes
The behind-the-scenes investigations revealed a diabolical method employed by the accused to bypass security checkpoints, as he cleverly disguised about two kilograms of shabu and hid it skillfully within the cavities of several books, betting that the cultural appearance of the parcels would divert suspicion away from him.
However, the vigilance of the anti-narcotics officers in Kuwait and their field experience were on high alert, as the security team succeeded in dismantling the "secret cavities" trick and penetrating the book covers to reveal the precisely hidden narcotic substance, leading to the smuggler's arrest in the act before unloading the shipment.
Immediately, the relevant authorities referred the accused and the seized items to the competent authorities to take strict legal action against him, while the strikes did not stop at the local borders in Kuwait, as urgent coordination and official communication were made with the concerned agencies in the Asian country from which the shipment originated to pursue the involved parties there.
This operation reaffirms that the security vigilance in Kuwait forms a strong barrier against the tricks of smugglers, no matter how varied their methods of concealment and disguise may be.
