دمرت حرائق واسعة وسط إنجلترا 19 منزلًا بالكامل وألحقت أضرارًا بـ18 منزلًا آخر في منطقة ويست ميدلاندز.
وأفادت هيئة الإذاعة البريطانية (بي بي سي) نقلًا عن خدمات الطوارئ أن 54 شخصًا تلقى العلاج جراء ثمانية حرائق شهدتها المنطقة، نُقل منهم 19 إلى المستشفى.
وأوضحت أن فرق الإطفاء تواصل التعامل مع بؤر الحرائق في الأراضي المفتوحة والحدائق وعلى امتداد خطوط السكك الحديدية، مضيفةً أن السلطات المحلية تعمل على تحديد أسباب الحرائق.
Widespread fires in central England have completely destroyed 19 homes and damaged 18 others in the West Midlands area.
The BBC reported, citing emergency services, that 54 people received treatment due to eight fires that occurred in the area, with 19 of them being taken to the hospital.
It was clarified that firefighting teams continue to tackle hotspots in open land and gardens along railway lines, adding that local authorities are working to determine the causes of the fires.
