تحوّلت براءة الطفولة ومرحها في أزقة مدينة أولاد جلال جنوب شرق الجزائر إلى فجيعة أطبقت على قلوب الجميع، ولم تكن تلك اللحظات العادية تبطّن سوى كابوس مرعب؛ إذ دخل ثلاثة أطفال تراوح أعمارهم بين السابعة والعاشرة إلى صندوق سيارة مركونة بغرض اللعب، ليكتشفوا متأخرين أن أبواب الصندوق قد أُغلقت عليهم بإحكام، وتحول المكان الفسيح إلى سجن خانق أطفأ أنفاس اثنين منهم وحرمهما من رؤية النور مجدداً.
هُرع الصغار إلى تلك المركبة بحثاً عن متعة البريئة، لكنهم وقعوا في فخّ قاتل لم يستطيعوا الإفلات منه. وتناقل مستخدمو منصات التواصل الاجتماعي بمزيد من الأسى مقاطع مصورة توثق تلك اللحظات المؤلمة التي ظهر فيها اثنان من الأطفال دون حراك، بينما كان الثالث يصارع الصدمة والذهول وسط ظلام دامس.
في حدود الواحدة والنصف بعد منتصف الليل، استقبل قسم طوارئ مستشفى «عاشور زيان» بالمحافظة الفاجعة بكل أساها؛ حيث وصل طفلان جثتين هامدين، بينما نُقل الثالث حياً يرزق ليتلقى الرعاية الصحية اللازمة.
وفي تصريحات إعلامية، أوضح مدير المؤسسة الاستشفائية، تيات الصالح، تفاصيل تلك الليلة الحزينة مؤكداً وصول الضحايا في منتصف الليل، ومعرباً عن خالص تعازيه لأسر الأطفال المتوفين وخالص دعواته بالشفاء العاجل للطفل الناجي، بينما فتحت السلطات الأمنية تحقيقاً عاجلاً للوقوف على كافة ملابسات الحادث الأليم ومنع تكراره.
The innocence and joy of childhood in the alleys of the city of Ouled Djellal in southeastern Algeria turned into a tragedy that gripped everyone's hearts. Those seemingly ordinary moments concealed nothing but a terrifying nightmare; three children aged between seven and ten entered the trunk of a parked car to play, only to discover too late that the trunk doors had been securely closed on them, transforming the spacious area into a suffocating prison that extinguished the breaths of two of them and deprived them of seeing the light again.
The little ones rushed to that vehicle in search of innocent fun, but they fell into a deadly trap from which they could not escape. Social media users shared with great sorrow video clips documenting those painful moments in which two of the children appeared motionless, while the third struggled with shock and disbelief in the pitch darkness.
Around one-thirty in the morning, the emergency department of "Achour Zian" hospital in the province received the tragedy with deep sorrow; two children arrived as lifeless bodies, while the third was transported alive to receive the necessary medical care.
In media statements, the director of the hospital, Tiyat Saleh, explained the details of that sad night, confirming the arrival of the victims at midnight, expressing his heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased children, and offering his sincere prayers for the swift recovery of the surviving child, while security authorities opened an urgent investigation to uncover all the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident and to prevent its recurrence.
