وفقاً للبيان الرسمي الصادر عن وزارة البترول والثروة المعدنية، سارعت فرق الإسعاف إلى موقع الحادث، حيث جرى نقل المصابين على الفور إلى مستشفى مدينة مرسى علم الساحلية لتلقي العلاج اللازم، وسط تقارير طبية أولية تؤكد استقرار حالاتهم الصحية. وفي أعقاب الحادث، تقرر رسمياً تعليق جميع الأعمال في المنطقة المتضررة، لحين الانتهاء من مراجعة معايير السلامة بشكل دقيق.
تحقيقات عليا وتحرك عاجل
ولأن أمن الأرواح هو الخط الأحمر الذي لا يمكن تجاوزه، أمر وزير البترول والثروة المعدنية كريم بدوي، بتشكيل لجنة عاجلة وموسعة للتحقيق في ملابسات الكارثة. وتستهدف اللجنة فحص كافة إجراءات السلامة والأمان المتبعة داخل المنجم بدقة متناهية، وضمان عدم تكرار مثل هذه الحوادث الأليمة.

The tragic incident occurred inside the deep tunnels of the "Sukari" gold mine, when a sudden rock collapse in one of the underground work areas led to the death of one worker and injuries to five others with various wounds.
According to the official statement issued by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, rescue teams rushed to the scene of the incident, where the injured were immediately transported to Marsa Alam coastal hospital for necessary treatment, amidst preliminary medical reports confirming the stability of their health conditions. Following the incident, it was officially decided to suspend all operations in the affected area until a thorough review of safety standards is completed.
