لقي (40) شخصًا مصرعهم، وأصيب (8) آخرون إثر سقوط حافلة ركاب في منحدر بمنطقة «ديرة إسماعيل خان» التابعة لإقليم خيبر بختونخوا شمال غرب باكستان، بعد مغادرتها منطقة شيراني في إقليم بلوشستان.
وأفادت السلطات المحلية بأن الحافلة بعد مغادرتها منطقة شيراني في إقليم بلوشستان، وأثناء سيرها في المنحدرات هوت، ونتج عنها سقوط عددٍ كبير من الضحايا، وفق حصيلة أولية.
وأضافت أن فرق الإنقاذ والطواقم الطبية سارعت إلى موقع الحادث لإجلاء الضحايا ونقل المصابين إلى المستشفيات لتلقي العلاج.
A total of (40) people were killed, and (8) others were injured after a passenger bus fell into a slope in the "Dera Ismail Khan" area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwest Pakistan, after leaving the Shirani area in Balochistan province.
Local authorities reported that the bus, after departing from the Shirani area in Balochistan, fell while navigating the slopes, resulting in a large number of casualties, according to preliminary reports.
They added that rescue teams and medical crews rushed to the scene of the accident to evacuate the victims and transport the injured to hospitals for treatment.
