في فاجعة إنسانية مروعة شهدها إقليم بلوشستان (جنوب غرب باكستان)، لقى 40 شخصاً حتفهم وأصيب آخرون بجروح خطيرة اليوم (الجمعة)، إثر سقوط حافلة ركاب في خندق عميق على جانب الطريق الجبلي، في حادثة هزت البلاد وأثارت حزناً واسعاً على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي.
ووفقاً للتصريحات الرسمية التي أدلى بها مسؤول باكستاني، فإن الحافلة المنكوبة كانت تنقل مسافرين في رحلة طويلة متجهة من مدينة كويتا إلى بيشاور. وأثناء عبورها منطقة «دانا سار» الجبلية الوعرة، انحرفت الحافلة عن مسارها بشكل مفاجئ لتهوي في وادٍ سحيق وعميق.
وأكد أن الفاجعة أسفرت في حصيلة أولية ومعتمدة من سلطات بلوشستان عن مقتل 40 شخصاً وإصابة 11 آخرين بجروح متفاوتة الخطورة.
وفور وقوع الحادثة، هرعت فرق الإنقاذ والدفاع المدني إلى الموقع الوعر، حيث واجهت صعوبات بالغة في انتشال الضحايا والمصابين من عمق الخندق الجبلي ونقلهم إلى المستشفيات القريبة لتلقي الإسعافات العاجلة.
في غضون ذلك، باشرت الجهات الأمنية والرسمية في باكستان تحقيقاتها المكثفة لكشف ملابسات الحادثة المؤلمة، وتحديد ما إذا كان السبب يعود إلى السرعة الزائدة وفقدان السيطرة، أم إلى وعورة الطريق وسوء الأحوال الجوية في تلك المنطقة الجبلية الخطرة.
In a horrific humanitarian tragedy witnessed in the Balochistan region (southwest Pakistan), 40 people lost their lives and others sustained serious injuries today (Friday) after a passenger bus fell into a deep ditch on the side of a mountain road, in an incident that shook the country and sparked widespread sorrow on social media platforms.
According to official statements made by a Pakistani official, the ill-fated bus was transporting passengers on a long journey from the city of Quetta to Peshawar. While crossing the rugged mountainous area of "Dana Sar," the bus suddenly veered off its path and plunged into a deep valley.
It was confirmed that the tragedy resulted in an initial and verified toll from Balochistan authorities of 40 dead and 11 others injured with varying degrees of severity.
Immediately after the incident, rescue and civil defense teams rushed to the rugged site, where they faced significant difficulties in retrieving the victims and the injured from the depths of the mountain ditch and transporting them to nearby hospitals for urgent medical care.
Meanwhile, security and official authorities in Pakistan began their intensive investigations to uncover the circumstances of the painful incident and to determine whether the cause was due to speeding and loss of control, or to the roughness of the road and adverse weather conditions in that dangerous mountainous area.
