عاشت منطقة «جرجيس» التابعة لولاية مدنين التونسية ساعات من القلق، بعد أن اهتزت الأرض تحت أقدام سكانها مرتين متتاليتين، كاشفةً عن نشاط زلزالي متسارع يضرب البلاد.
وأكد المعهد الوطني للرصد الجوي في تونس أن محطاته استنفرت لرصد الحركات الأرضية بدقة، محذراً من أرقام غير مألوفة سُجلت خلال الأشهر الماضية.
وأفاد حسان حامدي رئيس مصلحة الجيوفيزياء بالمعهد، بأن المنطقة شهدت ظاهرة «الضربة المزدوجة» في توقيتين مختلفين:
الهزة الأولى (الرئيسية): ضربت بقوة بلغت 4.2 درجة على سلم ريختر، وشعر بها عدد من السكان.
الهزة الثانية (الارتدادية): جاءت لتؤكد قلق الأهالي، لكنها كانت أخف وطأة؛ حيث بلغت قوتها 2.6 درجة.
51 هزة أرضية تضرب تونس
الصدمة الأكبر التي فجرها رئيس مصلحة الجيوفيزياء تكمن في الحصيلة الإجمالية المرعبة، حيث كشف أن تونس تعرضت لـ 51 رجة أرضية منذ بداية عام 2026 وحتى الآن!
وجاء توزيع هذه الهزات المسجلة ليرسم علامات استفهام حول طبيعة النشاط الجيولوجي الحالي:
- 7 هزات: ضعيفة جداً (أقل من درجتين).
- 28 هزة: خفيفة (تراوحت بين 2 إلى 3 درجات).
- 11 هزة: متوسطة وشعر بها السكان (بين 3 إلى 4 درجات).
- 4 هزات: عنيفة وتجاوزت عتبة الـ 4 درجات على سلم ريختر.
في غضون ذلك، أكد المعهد أن المصالح المختصة تواصل الليل بالنهار لمتابعة هذا النشاط الزلزالي بدقة، عبر محطات رصد متطورة منتشرة في مختلف أرجاء تونس لتحليل الحركات الأرضية بدقة منعاً لأي مفاجآت قد تخبئها الطبيعة.

The National Institute of Meteorology in Tunisia confirmed that its stations were mobilized to accurately monitor ground movements, warning of unusual figures recorded over the past months.
Hassan Hamdi, head of the Geophysics Department at the institute, reported that the region experienced a phenomenon known as the "double shock" at two different times:
The first tremor (the main one): struck with a magnitude of 4.2 on the Richter scale, felt by several residents.
The second tremor (the aftershock): came to confirm the residents' concerns, but it was less intense; its magnitude reached 2.6.
51 Earthquakes Hit Tunisia
The biggest shock revealed by the head of the Geophysics Department lies in the terrifying total count, as he disclosed that Tunisia has experienced 51 earthquakes since the beginning of 2026 until now!
The distribution of these recorded tremors raises questions about the nature of the current geological activity:
- 7 tremors: very weak (less than 2 degrees).
- 28 tremors: light (ranging between 2 to 3 degrees).
- 11 tremors: moderate and felt by the residents (between 3 to 4 degrees).
- 4 tremors: strong and exceeded the threshold of 4 degrees on the Richter scale.
In the meantime, the institute confirmed that the specialized authorities are working day and night to closely monitor this seismic activity, using advanced monitoring stations spread throughout Tunisia to analyze ground movements accurately to prevent any surprises that nature may hold.
