في موقف إنساني يجسد أسمى معاني العطاء، تحولت لحظات الوداع لطفل سعودي لم يتجاوز السادسة من عمره إلى بارقة أمل لأربعة مرضى كانوا ينتظرون فرصة جديدة للحياة.
فبعد موافقة أسرته على التبرع بأعضائه عقب وفاته دماغياً، نجح فريق المركز السعودي لزراعة الأعضاء، بالتعاون مع مستشفى الولادة والأطفال ببريدة، في إجراء أربع عمليات زراعة ناجحة، أعادت النبض لطفلة رضيعة تبلغ عشرة أشهر، وأنهت معاناة طفلة في الثامنة من عمرها مع الفشل الكبدي، كما خلصت سيدتين (21 و37 عاماً) من سنوات من الغسل الدموي والفشل الكلوي.
وأكد المدير العام للمركز السعودي لزراعة الأعضاء الدكتور طلال القوفي، أن توزيع الأعضاء تم وفق السياسات الطبية المعتمدة التي تضمن العدالة والأولوية العلاجية، مشيراً إلى أن هذا الإنجاز جاء ثمرة تعاون وتنسيق بين مختلف الجهات الصحية.
واختتم القوفي بتوجيه رسالة تقدير وامتنان لأسرة الطفل المتبرع، التي اختارت أن تجعل من رحيله بداية حياة جديدة لأربعة أشخاص، في قصة إنسانية تؤكد أن أثر الإنسان يمكن أن يبقى نابضاً حتى بعد الرحيل.

After his family agreed to donate his organs following his brain death, the team at the Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation, in collaboration with the Maternity and Children's Hospital in Buraidah, successfully performed four transplant operations, restoring life to a ten-month-old baby girl, ending the suffering of an eight-year-old girl with liver failure, and freeing two women (aged 21 and 37) from years of dialysis and kidney failure.
The Director General of the Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation, Dr. Talal Al-Qufi, confirmed that the distribution of organs was carried out according to the approved medical policies that ensure fairness and therapeutic priority, noting that this achievement was the result of cooperation and coordination among various health entities.
Al-Qufi concluded by sending a message of appreciation and gratitude to the family of the donating child, who chose to make his departure the beginning of a new life for four people, in a humanitarian story that affirms that a person's impact can remain vibrant even after they are gone.
