تحولت ملامح يوم الثلاثاء الهادئ في مركز «الشهداء» بمحافظة المنوفية إلى كابوس مفاجئ، حين اختصرت لحظة خاطفة على الطريق السريع حياة شقيقين، تاركةً خلفها ذهولاً وحزناً ينهش قلوب الأهالي.
كان الشقيقان، عمار وعمر عبدالفتاح، يستقلان دراجتهما النارية، يتبادلان الحديث ويسابقان الوقت لقضاء حاجتهما، دون أن يدريا أن الموت يتربص بهما عند المنعطف القادم. وما إن وصلت الدراجة إلى المسار المقابل لقرية «دراجيل»، حتى انشقت الأرض عن سيارة مسرعة، ليقع تصادم مباشر وعنيف هز أرجاء المكان.
دوى صوت الارتطام المرعب، وتطايرت شظايا الحديد على الأسفلت. هرع الأهالي والمارة نحو موقع الحادث وعلامات الفزع تكسو وجوههم، ليفاجأوا بالشقيقين غارقين في دمائهما بعد أن تلقيا ضربة بالغة القسوة أودت بحياتهما في الحال، لتسبق أنفاسهما الأخيرة وصول سيارات الإسعاف التي هرعت إلى المكان، ونقلت طواقم الإسعاف جثماني عمار وعمر إلى مشرحة مستشفى الشهداء المركزي، لتوضع الجثتان تحت تصرف النيابة العامة، التي أمرت على الفور بعرضهما على الطب الشرعي، وفتحت تحقيقاً عاجلاً لكشف ملابسات هذا الاصطدام الدامي ومحاسبة المتسبب فيه.
وخيّم صمت جنائزي ثقيل على أرجاء مركز الشهداء. لم تكن الصدمة في رحيلهما فحسب، بل في تلك القسوة التي خطفتهما معاً في ذات اللحظة. وتحولت منصات التواصل الاجتماعي إلى سرادق عزاء مفتوح، تدفقت فيه رسائل النعي الساخنة والمواساة لعائلة مكلومة، استيقظت صباحاً لتودع ولديها، وأمست لتستقبل نبأ رحيلهما الأبدي.

The brothers, Ammar and Omar Abdel Fattah, were riding their motorcycle, exchanging conversation and racing against time to fulfill their needs, unaware that death was lurking at the next turn. As the motorcycle reached the opposite lane near the village of "Darajil," the ground opened up to reveal a speeding car, leading to a direct and violent collision that shook the area.
The terrifying sound of the crash echoed, and shards of metal flew across the asphalt. Locals and passersby rushed to the scene of the accident, their faces marked by fear, only to be shocked to find the brothers submerged in their own blood after suffering a brutal blow that claimed their lives instantly, with their last breaths preceding the arrival of the ambulances that rushed to the site. The ambulance crews transported the bodies of Ammar and Omar to the morgue of the Martyrs Central Hospital, where the bodies were placed under the jurisdiction of the public prosecution, which immediately ordered an autopsy and opened an urgent investigation to uncover the circumstances of this bloody collision and hold those responsible accountable.
A heavy funeral silence descended upon the Martyrs center. The shock was not only in their departure but also in the cruelty that snatched them away together in the same moment.
