أعلنت وزارة الصحة السودانية وفاة 77 شخصاً وإصابة 308 آخرين بوباء الكوليرا.
أوضحت ذلك عقب الاجتماع الطارئ الذي عقدته اليوم، مع المنظمات الدولية والإقليمية؛ لبحث الأوضاع الصحية المتردية في ولاية غرب كردفان غربي السودان بعد انتشار الكوليرا.
وأكدت الوزارة في بيان صادر عنها أن تراكمي الإصابات المؤكدة بمرض الكوليرا في غرب كردفان حتى يوم 27 مايو الماضي بلغ 308 حالات، فيما تماثلت 99 حالة للتعافي التام، ولا تزال هناك 32 حالة تخضع للعلاج والرعاية الطبية المستمرة مع استقرارها.

This was clarified following the emergency meeting held today with international and regional organizations to discuss the deteriorating health conditions in West Kordofan, western Sudan, after the outbreak of cholera.
The ministry confirmed in a statement that the cumulative confirmed cases of cholera in West Kordofan as of May 27 amounted to 308 cases, while 99 cases have fully recovered, and there are still 32 cases undergoing treatment and continuous medical care, with their condition stable.
