في تطور صادم هزّ الوسط الفني والإعلامي في الولايات المتحدة، أعلنت سلطات لوس أنجلوس (الخميس)، توقيف مغني الراب الأمريكي الشاب المعروف باسم D4vd، للاشتباه في تورطه بقضية مقتل فتاة قاصر عُثر على جثتها داخل سيارته من نوع تسلا، في واقعة ما زالت تفاصيلها تتكشف تدريجياً.
وتعود بداية خيوط القضية إلى سبتمبر الماضي، حين لاحظ موظفون في ساحة حجز سيارات في هوليوود انبعاث رائحة كريهة وقوية من مركبة كانت قد نُقلت إلى الموقع بعد أن بدت مهجورة لفترة طويلة. السيارة، وهي من طراز تسلا موديل واي 2023، كانت مسجلة باسم الفنان واسمه الحقيقي ديفيد بيرك، وقد جرى سحبها من منطقة هوليوود هيلز.
وخلال عملية التفتيش، عثرت السلطات في 8 سبتمبر على جثة متحللة داخل المركبة، ليتبين لاحقاً أنها تعود لفتاة تبلغ من العمر 14 عاماً تُدعى سيليست ريفاس هيرنانديز، كانت قد أُبلغ عن اختفائها منذ عام 2024 من مدينة ليك إلسينوري، جنوب شرق لوس أنجلوس.
وأفاد مكتب الطب الشرعي بأن الجثة كانت داخل السيارة منذ فترة طويلة قبل اكتشافها، فيما أظهرت الوثائق الرسمية أن الوفاة وقعت عندما كانت الضحية في الـ14 من عمرها. كما كشفت التحقيقات الأولية وجود تفاصيل مروعة داخل السيارة، إذ وُجدت أجزاء من الجثة داخل أكياس، في مشهد يشير إلى حالة تحلل متقدمة، بينما لم يتم حتى الآن تحديد سبب الوفاة بشكل نهائي.
وفي سياق التحقيقات، أفاد شقيق الضحية بأنها أخبرت عائلتها قبل اختفائها أنها متجهة لمقابلة المغني لمشاهدة فيلم، في حين لم تصدر السلطات أي تأكيد رسمي بشأن طبيعة العلاقة بين الطرفين، ما زاد من غموض القضية وفتح الباب أمام تفسيرات وتساؤلات واسعة على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي.
من جهتها، أكدت محامية الدفاع عن D4vd أن موكلها ينفي بشكل قاطع أي تورط في مقتل الفتاة، مشيرة إلى أنه لم تُوجه إليه تهم رسمية حتى الآن، وأنه يخضع للتحقيق فقط، مع تأكيدها الاستعداد للدفاع عن براءته أمام القضاء.
في المقابل، أوضحت الشرطة أن الملف سيُعرض على النيابة العامة خلال الأيام القادمة لتقييم الأدلة واتخاذ قرار بشأن توجيه اتهامات رسمية من عدمه، في وقت تتصاعد فيه المتابعة الإعلامية للقضية.
يُذكر أن D4vd حقق شهرة واسعة بين جيل «زد» عبر منصة تيك توك، خصوصاً بعد انتشار أغنيته Romantic Homicide عام 2022، وكان وقت وقوع الحادثة في جولة فنية للترويج لألبومه الأول، قبل أن يتم إلغاء بقية حفلاته في أمريكا الشمالية وأوروبا عقب تفجر القضية.
In a shocking development that has shaken the artistic and media community in the United States, Los Angeles authorities announced on Thursday the arrest of young American rapper known as D4vd, on suspicion of his involvement in the murder of a minor whose body was found inside his Tesla vehicle, in an incident whose details are still gradually unfolding.
The beginnings of the case date back to last September, when employees at a car impound lot in Hollywood noticed a strong and foul odor emanating from a vehicle that had been towed to the site after appearing abandoned for a long time. The car, a 2023 Tesla Model Y, was registered in the artist's name, whose real name is David Burke, and had been towed from the Hollywood Hills area.
During the inspection, authorities discovered a decomposed body inside the vehicle on September 8, later identified as belonging to a 14-year-old girl named Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who had been reported missing since 2024 from Lake Elsinore, southeast of Los Angeles.
The coroner's office reported that the body had been inside the car for a long time before its discovery, while official documents indicated that the death occurred when the victim was 14 years old. Initial investigations revealed horrific details inside the car, as parts of the body were found in bags, in a scene indicating advanced decomposition, while the cause of death has not yet been definitively determined.
In the context of the investigations, the victim's brother stated that she had told her family before her disappearance that she was going to meet the singer to watch a movie, while authorities have not issued any official confirmation regarding the nature of the relationship between the two parties, which has added to the mystery of the case and opened the door to widespread interpretations and questions on social media platforms.
For her part, D4vd's defense attorney confirmed that her client categorically denies any involvement in the girl's murder, noting that he has not been formally charged yet and is only under investigation, while she affirmed her readiness to defend his innocence in court.
In contrast, the police clarified that the case file will be presented to the public prosecutor in the coming days to evaluate the evidence and decide whether to file formal charges or not, as media coverage of the case intensifies.
It is worth noting that D4vd gained widespread fame among Generation Z through TikTok, especially after the release of his song "Romantic Homicide" in 2022, and at the time of the incident, he was on a tour to promote his first album, before the remainder of his concerts in North America and Europe were canceled following the emergence of the case.
