أعلن نادي توتنهام هوتسبير الإنجليزي، اليوم (الجمعة)، تعاقده مع الظهير الأيسر الأسكتلندي آندي روبرتسون في صفقة انتقال حر، عقب انتهاء عقده مع نادي ليفربول.
وقال النادي في بيان عبر موقعه الإلكتروني: «يسرنا أن نعلن توقيع عقد مع آندي روبرتسون، إذ سينضم قائد منتخب أسكتلندا، الحائز على العديد من الألقاب، والذي يتمتع بصفات قيادية داخل الملعب وخارجه، إلى توتنهام في الأول من يوليو بعد انتهاء عقده مع ليفربول».
إشادة من المدرب
من جانبه، قال مدرب توتنهام روبرتو دي زيربي: «آندي شخص أعجبت به لسنوات عديدة، وسيجلب صفات فنية وخبرة وقيادة وعقلية متميزة لفريقنا، إنه فائز على أعلى مستوى على مدى فترة طويلة، وهو شخص يمكن أن يكون لاعباً مهماً بالنسبة لنا، سواء داخل الملعب أو خارجه».
وأضاف دي زيربي: «أنا متشوق لبدء العمل معه ورؤية الأثر الإيجابي الذي سيحدثه على كل من حوله».

وخلال رحلته مع «الريدز»، التي امتدت لنحو 9 سنوات، توج روبرتسون مع الفريق بالدوري الإنجليزي مرتين، وكأس الاتحاد الإنجليزي مرة واحدة، وكأس كاراباو مرتين، والدرع الخيرية مرة واحدة، ودوري أبطال أوروبا مرة واحدة، وكأس السوبر الأوروبي مرة واحدة، وكأس العالم للأندية مرة واحدة.
The English club Tottenham Hotspur announced today (Friday) the signing of Scottish left-back Andy Robertson on a free transfer, following the expiration of his contract with Liverpool.
The club stated in a statement on its website: "We are pleased to announce the signing of a contract with Andy Robertson, as the captain of the Scotland national team, who has won numerous titles and possesses leadership qualities both on and off the pitch, will join Tottenham on July 1 after his contract with Liverpool ends."

For his part, Tottenham coach Roberto De Zerbi said: "Andy is someone I have admired for many years, and he will bring technical qualities, experience, leadership, and a winning mentality to our team. He is a winner at the highest level for a long time, and he is someone who can be an important player for us, both on and off the pitch."
