شهد مقر البيت الفني للفنون الشعبية والاستعراضية في مصر المعروف بـ«السيرك القومي» بمنطقة العجوزة في محافظة الجيزة واقعة مأساوية، حيث تعرضت طفلة تبلغ من العمر 3 سنوات لإصابات خطيرة في الوجه والرأس، إثر هجوم مفاجئ من أسد صغير أثناء جلسة تصوير تذكارية بعد انتهاء أحد العروض المسرحية.
ووفقاً للتحقيقات الأولية اصطحب والد الطفلة أسرته لمشاهدة العرض، ثم اتفق مع مصور على التقاط صور تذكارية مع الشبل، وأثناء الجلسة، هاجم الشبل الطفلة فجأة وغرس مخالبه في وجهها ورأسها، ما أدى إلى إصابات خطيرة وفقدان الوعي، وتم نقل الطفلة على الفور إلى مستشفى العجوزة العام لتلقي العلاج اللازم.
أسرة الطفلة حررت محضراً بالواقعة، وبدأت النيابة العامة تحقيقات موسعة، وانتقل فريق من النيابة إلى موقع الحادث لمعاينة المكان وسماع أقوال الشهود والمصور وإدارة السيرك.
في أول رد فعل رسمي، أصدرت وزيرة الثقافة الدكتورة جيهان زكي قراراً عاجلاً باستبعاد مدير السيرك الحالي وليد طه، وتعيين محمد أحمد علي مديراً جديداً للسيرك القومي، كما أكد رئيس البيت الفني تامر عبدالمنعم أن إدارة السيرك لا تتحمل المسؤولية الكاملة عن الحادث، مشيراً إلى أن المصور هو من أجر الشبل بشكل فردي.
وقررت جهات التحقيق إخلاء سبيل مدربة الأسود لوبا الحلو، في حين تستمع جهات التحقيق بالعجوزة إلى أقوال والد الصغيرة المصابة.
ويقع البيت الفني للفنون الشعبية والاستعراضية المعروف شعبياً بالسيرك القومي في منطقة العجوزة بالجيزة، ويُعد أحد أبرز المعالم الترفيهية التاريخية في مصر التابعة لوزارة الثقافة، ويقدم عروضاً استعراضية ومسرحية ويحتوي على حيوانات في بعض الفقرات، وكان يشهد في السابق عروض سيرك تقليدية.
The headquarters of the Artistic House for Popular and Folkloric Arts in Egypt, known as the "National Circus," located in the Agouza area of Giza Governorate, witnessed a tragic incident where a 3-year-old girl sustained serious injuries to her face and head due to a sudden attack by a young lion during a photo session after one of the theatrical performances.
According to initial investigations, the girl's father took his family to watch the show and then arranged with a photographer to take commemorative photos with the cub. During the session, the cub suddenly attacked the girl, sinking its claws into her face and head, resulting in severe injuries and loss of consciousness. The girl was immediately transported to Agouza General Hospital for necessary treatment.
The girl's family filed a report about the incident, and the public prosecution began extensive investigations. A team from the prosecution visited the scene of the incident to inspect the location and hear the testimonies of witnesses, the photographer, and the circus management.
In the first official reaction, Minister of Culture Dr. Gihan Zaki issued an urgent decision to dismiss the current circus director Walid Taha and appoint Mohamed Ahmed Ali as the new director of the National Circus. The head of the Artistic House, Tamer Abdel Moneim, confirmed that the circus management does not bear full responsibility for the incident, pointing out that the photographer had rented the cub individually.
The investigative authorities decided to release the lion trainer Loba El Helou, while the investigative authorities in Agouza are listening to the statements of the father of the injured girl.
The Artistic House for Popular and Folkloric Arts, popularly known as the National Circus, is located in the Agouza area of Giza and is considered one of the most prominent historical entertainment landmarks in Egypt under the Ministry of Culture. It offers theatrical and performance shows and features animals in some acts, and it previously hosted traditional circus performances.
