وأكد كيم جونغ أون في كلمته أن النساء يشكلن «ركائز قوية للثورة»، وأن مساهمتهن في المجتمع الوطني تجعل كوريا الشمالية أكثر قوة وازدهاراً، مشدداً على أن أدوارهن ومسؤولياتهن في تعزيز الاشتراكية «لا يمكن الاستغناء عنها».
ويأتي الحدث ضمن احتفالات البلاد باليوم العالمي للمرأة، التي تُستغل لتعزيز الوحدة الوطنية وإبراز مكانة المرأة الكورية في المجتمع، مع تسليط الضوء على الأجيال القادمة بما فيها جو إيه، التي يُعتقد أنها قد تُعد لتولي مسؤوليات مستقبلية.
In a rare scene reflecting the family side of the North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un attended a musical event on the occasion of International Women's Day, accompanied by his wife Ri Sol Ju and his daughter Kim Ju Ae, amid praise for the role of women in building society and national development.
The ceremony, held at the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium, saw the presence of prominent female government officials and several members of foreign diplomatic missions. Official photos showed Ju Ae sitting between her parents while the leader held her hand, in a rare shot not typically shown to the public through Korean media.
Kim Jong Un affirmed in his speech that women are "strong pillars of the revolution," and that their contributions to national society make North Korea stronger and more prosperous, emphasizing that their roles and responsibilities in promoting socialism "are indispensable."
This event is part of the country's celebrations for International Women's Day, which are used to promote national unity and highlight the status of Korean women in society, while also focusing on the next generations, including Ju Ae, who is believed to be being prepared for future responsibilities.
