كشفت عملية أمنية نفذتها وزارة الداخلية الكويتية عن تفاصيل صادمة داخل أحد المنازل في الكويت، بعدما قادت مداهمة لضبط متهم بالمخدرات إلى اكتشاف مأساة إنسانية استمرت لأشهر.
وأعلنت الوزارة أن الإدارة العامة لمكافحة المخدرات تمكنت من ضبط متهم يعمل عسكرياً في الوزارة داخل منطقة العيون، وبحوزته مؤثرات عقلية وكمية من مادة «الكيميكال»، إضافة إلى مبالغ مالية ومواد أخرى يُشتبه بأنها معدة بقصد الاتجار والتعاطي.
لكن المفاجأة لم تكن في المضبوطات فقط. فخلال تفتيش منزل المتهم، سمع رجال الأمن صوت استغاثة صادر من إحدى الغرف المغلقة. وعند التوجه إلى مصدر الصوت وفتح الباب، تبين وجود شقيقته محتجزة داخل الغرفة منذ نحو عشرة أشهر.
وأظهرت المعاينة أن نافذة الغرفة أُغلقت بإحكام باستخدام مواد بناء، في محاولة لمنع فتحها وتحويل المكان إلى ما يشبه السجن، بما يحول دون هروب المحتجزة.
وعلى الفور تم التحفظ على الأشقاء الموجودين في المنزل، وإحالتهم إلى الجهات المختصة لاستكمال الإجراءات القانونية واتخاذ ما يلزم بحقهم.
وأكدت وزارة الداخلية أن تطبيق القانون وحفظ الأمن مسؤولية أصيلة للدولة فقط، ولن يُسمح لأي شخص أن يتجاوز النظام أو يحاول تطبيق القانون بنفسه تحت أي ظرف من الظروف.
وتشدد الوزارة على أن الكويت بلد قانون ومؤسسات، يطبق فيها القانون على الجميع دون استثناء، الكبير قبل الصغير، وأن كل من تسوّل له نفسه مخالفة القانون أو التعدي على حقوق الآخرين سيواجه إجراءات قانونية حازمة ورادعة، ولن يكون هناك أي تهاون في محاسبة المخالفين.
An operation carried out by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior revealed shocking details inside a house in Kuwait, after a raid to apprehend a drug suspect led to the discovery of a humanitarian tragedy that lasted for months.
The ministry announced that the General Administration for Drug Control managed to apprehend a suspect who works in the military within the Ministry in the Al-Oyoun area, in possession of psychoactive substances and a quantity of "chemical" material, in addition to cash and other materials suspected to be prepared for trafficking and consumption.
However, the surprise was not only in the seized items. During the search of the suspect's house, security personnel heard a cry for help coming from one of the locked rooms. When they approached the source of the sound and opened the door, it became clear that his sister had been held inside the room for about ten months.
The inspection revealed that the room's window had been securely closed using construction materials, in an attempt to prevent it from being opened and to turn the place into something resembling a prison, thereby preventing the escape of the detainee.
Immediately, the siblings present in the house were detained and referred to the relevant authorities to complete the legal procedures and take necessary actions against them.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that the enforcement of the law and the maintenance of security is the sole responsibility of the state, and no one will be allowed to bypass the system or attempt to enforce the law themselves under any circumstances.
The ministry emphasizes that Kuwait is a country of law and institutions, where the law is applied to everyone without exception, from the largest to the smallest, and that anyone who dares to violate the law or infringe upon the rights of others will face strict and deterrent legal actions, with no leniency in holding violators accountable.
