أقدم شاب في بغداد على قتل والديه بإطلاق النار داخل منزلهما في منطقة الأمين شرقي العاصمة، قبل أن يختفي عن الأنظار، تاركًا وراءه جريمة صادمة ما تزال دوافعها غامضة.
وبحسب ما أوردته "السومرية نيوز"، فإن الجاني استخدم مسدسًا في تنفيذ جريمته، فيما هرعت قوة أمنية إلى موقع الحادث فور تلقي البلاغ، وشرعت بعمليات تمشيط واسعة لتعقب المتهم الذي لم يُلق القبض عليه حتى الآن.
مصدر أمني أفاد بأن التحقيقات لا تزال في مراحلها الأولية، دون الكشف عن تفاصيل إضافية تتعلق بملابسات الحادثة أو خلفياتها، مرجحًا أن تتضح الصورة الكاملة بعد توقيف المتهم واستجوابه رسميًا. ولم تصدر وزارة الداخلية بيانًا يوضح حيثيات الجريمة.
وتعيد هذه الحادثة إلى الواجهة ملف الجرائم العائلية في العراق، والتي شهدت خلال الأشهر الماضية وقائع دامية بدوافع متباينة. ففي منتصف فبراير الماضي، شهدت النجف جريمة مماثلة، راح ضحيتها أكاديمي قُتل طعنًا على يد نجله، الذي أنهى حياته منتحرًا بعد ارتكاب فعلته.

This incident brings back to the forefront the issue of family crimes in Iraq, which have witnessed bloody events over the past months for various motives. In mid-February, Najaf witnessed a similar crime, where an academic was killed by his son, who ended his own life by suicide after committing the act.
