Pursuing the Spread of Sympathy for Terrorist Organizations

The ministry confirmed that the Criminal Security Sector also managed to arrest individuals who published content expressing sympathy for terrorist organizations through their personal accounts and social media, in a step that reflects the security agencies' commitment to protecting the community from any attempts to negatively influence public stability.

Firmness and Strictness in Law Enforcement

The ministry emphasized its continued close monitoring of all social media platforms and fields of work, asserting that the pursuit of violators will not cease. It has already begun taking all necessary legal actions against those apprehended and referring them to the relevant authorities, noting its previous warnings against such criminal practices and that it will not tolerate any attempts to tamper with the country's security.

A Call for Citizens and Residents to Be Aware and Responsible

The ministry urged citizens and residents to obtain information only from official sources and to prioritize national interest by not circulating or re-sharing unreliable clips. It also stressed the importance of refraining from filming ongoing events or security personnel while performing their duties, to avoid legal accountability and to protect security efforts and maintain the safety and security of Kuwait.
