أعلنت هيئة الطيران المدني الهندية (الاثنين)، أن طائرة إسعاف تحطمت في ولاية جاركاند، وعلى متنها 7 أشخاص، بينهم اثنان من أفراد الطاقم.
وأوضحت الهيئة أن الطائرة من طراز «بيتشكرافت سي 90» وتشغلها شركة ريد بيرد إيرويز، أقلعت من رانشي في الساعة 13:41 بتوقيت غرينتش، وطلب الطاقم الانحراف عن مسار الرحلة بسبب سوء الأحوال الجوية، قبل أن يُفقد الاتصال بها وتختفي عن شاشات الرادار.
ويجري حالياً البحث والإنقاذ في موقع الحادث، كما تم إرسال فريق تحقيق رسمي لمعرفة ملابساته.
وأكدت وسائل الإعلام المحلية وفاة شخص واحد على الأقل، بينما كان من بين الركاب المريض سانجاي كومار (41 عاماً) المصاب بحروق بنسبة 63%، إلى جانب الدكتور فيكاس كومار غوبتا والمسعف ساشين كومار ميشرا ومساعديهما أرتشانا ديفي ودهورو كومار، وفريق الطيارين فيفيك فيكاس بهاغات وسافراجيب سينغ.
وقال مدير مطار رانشي، فينود كومار، إن سوء الأحوال الجوية قد يكون عاملاً في الحادث، بينما شدد على أن التحقيق الرسمي سيحدد السبب النهائي.
ويعد هذا الحادث ثالث تحطم جوي مدني مميت في الهند منذ يونيو، بعد تحطم طائرة بوينغ دريملاينر للخطوط الجوية الهندية، وما يزال التقرير النهائي عن الحادث السابق قيد الانتظار.
The Indian Civil Aviation Authority announced (on Monday) that an air ambulance crashed in Jharkhand, with 7 people on board, including two crew members.
The authority clarified that the aircraft was a "Beechcraft C90" operated by Red Bird Airways, which took off from Ranchi at 13:41 GMT. The crew requested to deviate from the flight path due to bad weather before contact was lost and it disappeared from radar screens.
Search and rescue operations are currently underway at the crash site, and an official investigation team has been dispatched to determine the circumstances.
Local media confirmed the death of at least one person, while among the passengers was patient Sanjay Kumar (41 years old) who suffered burns covering 63%, along with Dr. Vikas Kumar Gupta, paramedic Sachin Kumar Mishra, and their assistants Archana Devi and Dhruv Kumar, as well as the pilot team Vivek Vikas Bhagat and Safrajib Singh.
Ranchi Airport Director Vinod Kumar stated that bad weather could be a factor in the incident, while emphasizing that the official investigation will determine the final cause.
This incident marks the third fatal civil aviation crash in India since June, following the crash of an Air India Boeing Dreamliner, and the final report on the previous incident is still pending.
