تحوّل طريق سريع في ولاية فلوريدا الأمريكية، عصر الجمعة، إلى مشهد مرعب بعد وقوع انفجار عنيف في إحدى السيارات أثناء سيرها، ما أدى إلى اندلاع حريق ضخم أربك حركة المرور وبثّ حالة من الذعر بين السائقين.
وبحسب ما أفادت به قناة "7News Miami" المحلية، وقع الحادث المروّع على الطريق السريع رقم (95) في مدينة بومبانو بيتش، الأمر الذي دفع السلطات إلى إغلاق جميع المسارات المتجهة شمالاً كإجراء احترازي.
وأظهرت لقطات التقطتها كاميرات مراقبة المرور لحظة الانفجار قرب طريق "كوبانز"، وذلك بعد الساعة 1:30 ظهراً بقليل، حيث تحولت السيارة خلال ثوانٍ إلى كتلة من اللهب والدخان الكثيف.
وسارعت فرق الإطفاء إلى موقع الحادث وتمكنت من السيطرة على الحريق خلال وقت قصير، مؤكدة عدم تسجيل أي إصابات بشرية، في وقت لا تزال فيه السلطات الأمريكية تحقق لمعرفة أسباب الانفجار التي لم تُكشف حتى الآن.
A highway in the state of Florida, USA, turned into a terrifying scene on Friday afternoon after a violent explosion occurred in one of the vehicles while it was in motion, leading to a massive fire that disrupted traffic and caused panic among drivers.
According to local channel "7News Miami," the horrific incident took place on Interstate 95 in the city of Pompano Beach, prompting authorities to close all northbound lanes as a precautionary measure.
Footage captured by traffic surveillance cameras showed the moment of the explosion near "Cuban's" Road, shortly after 1:30 PM, as the vehicle turned into a mass of flames and thick smoke within seconds.
Fire crews rushed to the scene and managed to control the fire within a short time, confirming that no injuries were reported, while U.S. authorities are still investigating the causes of the explosion, which have not yet been revealed.
