أُسدل الستار على واحدة من أكثر الحوادث الجوية غموضًا في إندونيسيا، بعدما أعلنت فرق الإنقاذ العثور على جثث جميع من كانوا على متن طائرة استطلاع صغيرة تحطمت فوق تضاريس جبلية وعرة في شرق البلاد، لتتحول رحلة روتينية إلى حادثة مأساوية شغلت الرأي العام.
وأكد أندي سلطان مسؤول وكالة الإنقاذ في سولاويزي الجنوبية أن فرق البحث تمكنت فجر الجمعة من انتشال الجثتين الأخيرتين، مكتملة بذلك حصيلة الضحايا العشرة، في وقت لا تزال فيه عمليات الإجلاء مستمرة وسط ظروف ميدانية صعبة.
الطائرة المنكوبة وهي من طراز ATR 42-500 وتتبع مجموعة إندونيسيا للنقل الجوي، كانت تنفذ مهمة رسمية لصالح وزارة الشؤون البحرية والثروة السمكية، قبل أن ينقطع الاتصال بها بشكل مفاجئ مع مراقبة الحركة الجوية قرابة الساعة الواحدة والنصف ظهرًا بالتوقيت المحلي، أثناء تحليقها قرب منطقة ماروس في جزيرة سولاويزي الجنوبية.
وبحسب المعلومات الرسمية، كان على متن الطائرة 7 من أفراد الطاقم و3 موظفين حكوميين، في مهمة استطلاع جوي لمتابعة مصائد الأسماك، قبل أن ينتهي المسار الجوي بشكل مأساوي فوق جبل بولوسارونغ، حيث عُثر على حطام الطائرة متناثرًا في عدة مواقع تبعد نحو 1500 كيلومتر شمال شرق العاصمة جاكرتا.
من جهتها، أعلنت وكالة البحث والإنقاذ الإندونيسية عبر حساباتها الرسمية العثور على جميع الضحايا، موثقةً لحظات البحث بلقطات أظهرت فرق الإنقاذ وهي تشق طريقها بين المنحدرات والغابات الكثيفة للوصول إلى موقع الحادثة.
وفي تطور لافت، كشفت اللجنة الوطنية الإندونيسية لسلامة النقل بدء تحليل بيانات الصندوق الأسود للطائرة، في محاولة لكشف ملابسات التحطم، الذي يُعد أول حادثة مميتة لطائرة من هذا الطراز في إندونيسيا منذ أكثر من عقد.
وتعيد هذه الحادثة إلى الواجهة ملف سلامة الطيران في البلاد، التي شهدت خلال السنوات الماضية حوادث جوية دامية، أبرزها تحطم طائرة ATR 42-300 في بابوا عام 2015، وتحطم طائرة بوينغ 737-500 في بحر جاوة عام 2021، ما يسلط الضوء مجددًا على التحديات التي تواجه قطاع النقل الجوي في الأرخبيل الإندونيسي.

The curtain has fallen on one of the most mysterious aviation incidents in Indonesia, after rescue teams announced the discovery of the bodies of all those on board a small reconnaissance plane that crashed over rugged mountainous terrain in the east of the country, turning a routine flight into a tragic incident that captured public attention.
Andy Sultan, head of the South Sulawesi rescue agency, confirmed that search teams managed to recover the last two bodies early Friday morning, bringing the total number of victims to ten, while evacuation operations continue amid challenging field conditions.
The ill-fated aircraft, an ATR 42-500 belonging to the Indonesia Air Transport Group, was on an official mission for the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries when contact was suddenly lost with air traffic control around 1:30 PM local time, while flying near the Maros area in South Sulawesi.
According to official information, there were 7 crew members and 3 government employees on board the aircraft, on an aerial reconnaissance mission to monitor fishing grounds, before the flight path tragically ended over Mount Bolosarong, where the wreckage was found scattered across several sites about 1500 kilometers northeast of the capital Jakarta.
For its part, the Indonesian Search and Rescue Agency announced through its official accounts that all victims had been found, documenting the search moments with footage showing rescue teams making their way through steep slopes and dense forests to reach the crash site.
In a notable development, the Indonesian National Transportation Safety Committee revealed the start of the analysis of the aircraft's black box data, in an attempt to uncover the circumstances of the crash, which is considered the first fatal incident involving this type of aircraft in Indonesia in over a decade.
This incident brings back to the forefront the issue of aviation safety in the country, which has witnessed bloody aviation accidents in recent years, most notably the crash of an ATR 42-300 in Papua in 2015 and the crash of a Boeing 737-500 in the Java Sea in 2021, highlighting once again the challenges facing the aviation sector in the Indonesian archipelago.
