هزّ حادث مروّع شبكة السكك الحديدية في جنوب إسبانيا، بعدما أسفر خروج قطارين فائقَي السرعة عن مساريهما قرب مدينة أداموز في إقليم الأندلس، عن مقتل 21 شخصاً على الأقل وإصابة آخرين، في واحدة من أخطر حوادث القطارات التي تشهدها البلاد في السنوات الأخيرة.
ركاب محاصرون
وأفادت وزارة الداخلية الإسبانية بإصابة عدد من الركاب، فيما أكدت خدمات الطوارئ وجود أشخاص محاصرين داخل العربات، مع تواصل عمليات الإنقاذ والإسعاف في موقع الحادث.
كيف وقع التصادم؟
ووفقاً لإدارة شبكة السكك الحديد الإسبانية (أديف)، خرج قطار تابع لشركة «إيريو» كان متجهاً من ملقة إلى مدريد عن مساره قرب أداموز، وانحرف إلى المسار المجاور حيث كان يسير قطار آخر، ما أدى إلى اصطدامهما وخروج القطارين عن السكة.
شهادات صادمة
ونقلت قناة TVE الإسبانية الرسمية عن شاهد عيان أن إحدى عربات القطار الذي خرج عن السكة أولاً انقلبت بالكامل، في مشهد وصفه بالكارثي.
استنفار رسمي
وقال رئيس إقليم الأندلس خوان مانويل مورينو عبر منصة «إكس» إن فرق الطوارئ والدعم اللوجستي أُرسلت فوراً إلى موقع الحادث لتقديم المساعدة اللازمة للمتضررين.
من جانبه، أكد رئيس الوزراء الإسباني بيدرو سانشيز أنه يتابع الحادث «باهتمام شديد»، مشيراً إلى أن الحكومة تعمل بالتنسيق مع السلطات المختصة وفرق الطوارئ لمساندة الركاب والتعامل مع تداعيات الكارثة.

وأعربت العائلة المالكة الإسبانية في بيان رسمي عن قلقها البالغ إزاء هذا «الحادث الخطير»، مقدمة أحر التعازي لأسر الضحايا وذويهم.
تعليق حركة القطارات
وعلى خلفية الحادث، أُعلنت تعليق حركة المرور على الخط الحيوي الرابط بين مدريد وإقليم الأندلس حتى إشعار آخر، في انتظار استكمال التحقيقات وضمان سلامة المسار.
A horrific incident has shaken the railway network in southern Spain, after two high-speed trains derailed near the town of Adamuz in the Andalusia region, resulting in at least 21 deaths and injuries to others, in one of the most serious train accidents the country has witnessed in recent years.
Trapped Passengers
The Spanish Ministry of the Interior reported that several passengers were injured, while emergency services confirmed that there were people trapped inside the carriages, as rescue and medical operations continued at the accident site.
How Did the Collision Occur?
According to the Spanish railway network management (ADIF), a train belonging to the "Iryo" company that was heading from Malaga to Madrid derailed near Adamuz and veered onto the adjacent track where another train was operating, leading to a collision and both trains derailing.
Shocking Testimonies
The official Spanish channel TVE reported that an eyewitness stated that one of the carriages of the train that derailed first completely overturned, in a scene he described as catastrophic.
Official Alert
The President of the Andalusia region, Juan Manuel Moreno, stated via the "X" platform that emergency and logistical support teams were immediately sent to the accident site to provide the necessary assistance to those affected.
For his part, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez confirmed that he is following the incident "with great concern," indicating that the government is working in coordination with the relevant authorities and emergency teams to support the passengers and address the aftermath of the disaster.

The Spanish royal family expressed its deep concern in an official statement regarding this "serious incident," extending their heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and their loved ones.
Suspension of Train Services
In light of the incident, traffic on the vital line connecting Madrid and the Andalusia region has been suspended until further notice, pending the completion of investigations and ensuring the safety of the track.
