أعلنت شركة Google عن إطلاق أكبر تحديث في تاريخ خدمة البريد الإلكتروني Gmail منذ 2004، مع إدماج مجموعة من أدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي المتقدمة (Gemini 3) التي تهدف إلى تحويل البريد من أداة تقليدية إلى مساعد شخصي ذكي يستطيع فهم المحتوى وتقديم الإجابات وتنظيم الرسائل بكفاءة أعلى؛ وفق ما نشرته تقارير تقنية دولية عن التحديث.
ويشمل التحديث الجديد خمسة عناصر رئيسية تعمل عبر الذكاء الاصطناعي؛ من بينها ميزة AI Overviews التي تسمح للمستخدمين بطرح أسئلة مباشرة عن محتوى البريد، مثل «أين رقم تأكيد الرحلة؟» أو «ما أهم النقاط في سلسلة الرسائل؟»، فيستعرض النظام الأرشيف ويقدّم إجابات سريعة مختصرة دون الحاجة لقراءة كل الرسائل يدوياً.
كما أضافت Google واجهة AI Inbox التي ترتّب الرسائل حسب الأولوية بدلاً من العرض الزمني التقليدي، وتعرض العناصر العاجلة مثل التنبيهات والفواتير أولاً. وتدعم هذه الواجهة المستخدمين في إدارة البريد اليومي بسهولة أكبر من ذي قبل. وورد في التحديث أيضاً ملخصات المحادثات الطويلة (AI Conversation Summaries) التي تجمع أبرز النقاط في أعلى سلسلة الرسائل، بينما تحسّن الردود المقترحة الذكية (Suggested Replies) أسلوب الردود بناءً على نبرة المستخدم والسياق، ما يجعل الرسائل أكثر احترافية وملاءمة.
ولا يغيب عن التحديث عنصر تحسين الكتابة الاحترافية عبر الذكاء الاصطناعي، الذي يساعد المستخدم على تحرير الرسائل وتصحيح الأخطاء اللغوية وتقديم اقتراحات أسلوبية راقية، وهي ميزة مفيدة خاصة لمستخدمي الهواتف الذكية.

Google has also added the AI Inbox interface, which organizes messages by priority instead of the traditional chronological display, showing urgent items like alerts and bills first. This interface supports users in managing their daily email more easily than before. The update also includes AI Conversation Summaries that gather the main points at the top of the email thread, while smart Suggested Replies improve the response style based on the user's tone and context, making messages more professional and appropriate.
The update also features enhancements for professional writing through artificial intelligence, which helps users edit messages, correct language errors, and provide sophisticated stylistic suggestions, a particularly useful feature for smartphone users.
