أعلنت وزارة الداخلية أن الإدارة العامة للمباحث الجنائية ممثلة في إدارة مباحث محافظة الفروانية وبالتعاون مع إدارة مكافحة الجرائم الإلكترونية، تمكنت من رصد حساب على إحدى منصات التواصل الاجتماعي قام بنشر مقطع مصور مخالف للآداب العامة.
وأضافت الوزارة في بيان، أن المقطع المتداول أظهر تجمعاً لعدد من الأشخاص من الجالية الهندية داخل أحد المخيمات بمنطقة المطلاع، ظهروا بممارسات وسلوكيات غير لائقة، شملت التشبه بالنساء، وبما من شأنه المساس بالقيم المجتمعية، ويُعد مخالفة صريحة للقوانين والأنظمة المعمول بها في البلاد.
وأكدت أنه وبإجراء التحريات اللازمة حول الحساب المرصود، تم التوصل إلى مالكه وضبطه، وبمواجهته أقر بأن الحساب يعود له، وبأن الأشخاص الظاهرين في المقطع المصور كانوا برفقته أثناء تصوير ونشر المقطع. كما أسفرت التحريات والإجراءات الأمنية عن ضبط جميع الأشخاص الظاهرين في المقطع المتداول، وتم اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة بحقهم، وإحالة الواقعة إلى جهة الاختصاص، تطبيقاً للقانون واستكمالاً للإجراءات المتبعة.
The Ministry of Interior announced that the General Department of Criminal Investigations, represented by the Criminal Investigations Department of Al-Farwaniyah Governorate, in cooperation with the Cyber Crime Department, managed to monitor an account on one of the social media platforms that published a video clip violating public morals.
The ministry added in a statement that the circulated clip showed a gathering of several individuals from the Indian community inside one of the camps in the Al-Mutlaa area, engaging in inappropriate practices and behaviors, including impersonating women, which undermines societal values and constitutes a clear violation of the laws and regulations in force in the country.
The ministry confirmed that, after conducting the necessary investigations regarding the monitored account, they were able to identify and apprehend its owner. Upon confrontation, he admitted that the account belonged to him and that the individuals appearing in the video were with him during the filming and publication of the clip. The investigations and security measures also led to the apprehension of all individuals appearing in the circulated clip, and the necessary legal actions were taken against them, with the incident referred to the relevant authorities, in accordance with the law and to complete the procedures followed.
